We were accurately explained everything we could expect about the house and the area. The yard is gated in, and garage is accessible, we didn’t feel that we needed to use it though. 💜 Mimi was a great hostess, and made sure that we were armed with information before we ever got into Houston. We had a short trip, but had it been longer we would’ve been comfortable, and that is what matters! Thank you so much for making our stay hassle free and for being a courteous host!!

On the positive side, the garage home was very nice. Clean, well organized, off-street parking. You could even use the garage if you wanted to. There is a balcony with comfortable chairs that were great for relaxing outside. Great location! Lots of hot water in the shower. On the not-so-positive side, there were a few things that really bugged us. Check-in was difficult--I had to download some lock-related app. I asked the owner if there was another way to gain entry to the place, but received a no. Then, a few hours later, after I had to set-up and get trained on the app, I get word that a code had been set up and that I didn't need to go through the app after all. We arrived at the place at 3:56 pm and could not get the code to work--this owner is very serious about checking in at 4:00 pm precisely. And she sent me several messages reminding me that we had to be out by 10:00 am on the dot! We were provided 2 cheap bath towels and a hand towel for 2 of us for 4 days. There was a fob and a clicker for closing the gate to the property and neither worked. And we were given instructions on how to clean up after ourselves. We are very neat, and honestly, isn't that what the extra fee for housekeeping is for? Big picture, it's a pretty, clean place in a great location. We just did not feel welcome. If those kinds of things do not bother you, then you'll enjoy the house.

Stayed a weekend with a friend for the football game and this place was awesome! Perfect for a weekend getaway. Close to plenty of restaurants and bars! Safe and peaceful neighborhood

Great neighborhood , very clean and comftable

This was our 2nd stay at this wonderful place. You have to be able to walk up a flight of stairs but it’s worth it. Well appointed 2 bedrooms with a great kitchen. Upfront communication with the host was very good. This is a great neighborhood where you can walk to multiple restaurants. If you feel like bringing you bikes or going for a walk there is a beautiful pathway system just 1/2 block away. We’ll be back in the spring!

Great location! Well appointed and comfortable - having the owners close is a nice bonus as well.

We love staying in our old neighborhood when we travel back to H-Town. Lots of great restaurants, coffee shops, etc. within walking distance. The owners were very helpful with the process of checking in. The 2 bedroom accommodations had everything we needed for a nice long weekend.

The AC busted on our first night, but Mimi and her husband Jeff were quick to resolve the issue and kept us in constant communication until it was fixed. I would absolutely stay here again and appreciate the superb hospitality!

This is an excellent place to stay in a safe and beautiful neighborhood. Very clean and very comfortable. Highly recommend.

Stayed for 3 nights while attending a music festival at White oak Music Hall. Great location: quiet at night and plenty of restaurants nearby. Will gladly stay again, Interior is very nicely done. Kitchen is nicely stocked though I did not see any paper towels. The only other suggestion I would like to make is to have a comfortable sofa instead of the two chairs.

This house is beautifully done. The owners are close by and super helpful. You’re in walking distance to anything you might want, restaurants, bars, parks, stores. Fabulous yard too! We loved it!

My husband and 8-year-old daughter stayed with me at this great little spot. The home has an enormous yard where we played frisbee and walked around barefoot. The home was within walking distance of an abundance of little shops and cafes. We checked out an ice cream shop that was a very pleasant 5-minute walk as well as played at a neighborhood playground that was nearby. We really enjoyed the neighborhood SO much. The home is more like a small apartment. It was cozy and had all the essentials, the beds were quite comfortable. We would stay here again.

As always, place was spotless with tons of fabulous restaurant choices within walking distance. So many cute coffee shops, juice bars. We love new area around Heights and 7th.

This place was very good. We don’t use VRBO Often but so glad we did this time. Not only was the place a good launching pad for all of our activities but the property owner was very attentive. If we are back in Houston in the near future we will definitely try and schedule a stay here

MiMi was great and welcoming and immediately advised us she would be available if needed. Everything was so great-we were able to enjoy the property without ever having to contact the owners! This was the best stay I’ve had anywhere. Period. It’s the cutest house in a great, safe neighborhood with lots of walkable shops and walking trails nearby. Mimi and Jeff were so hospitable, kind, and easy to communicate with. They were prompt and supplied everything we needed and more for a long month stay with little ones! This place was perfect for us and I’m confident it would be for anyone else. If we ever visit Houston again we will definitely stay here. Highly, highly recommend!!

I want to say that this place is great. Location is perfect. Apartment is super clean. Owner are super nice. Easy to communicate. Beds are very comfortable. Love the idea re your turning TV. If i could i would give 10 stars. Thank you and we will come back
