What an amazing stay. It was our first time in Exuma. Sophia was outstanding. This was the perfect time for my wife and I for the week. Everything we needed was there. We did a little bit of shopping for the week and had plenty of leftovers. The house is perfectly equipped and an awesome location if you want to get away from everything. Throughout the week, I think we saw a total of three people on a little private beach. It was the perfect beach area for just my wife and I. The water is absolutely gorgeous, the bed was very comfortable and the view was indescribable. The house is furnished perfectly. We will absolutely come here again. We rented a car as you will need one. This is a bit remote as you are about 40 minutes from Georgetown. We found a few little bars to hang out but we made drinks at the house and grilled out. It is perfect. Do it! Thank you Sophia for a wonderful stay.

My sister and I had a wonderful week. The house was perfect. We had everything we needed. Sophia was just amazing!

This cottage was the perfect choice for us. It was very cute, comfortable, clean and private. The pictures really don't do it justice. The deck was much larger the we expected. It had nice comfy chairs to sit in the shade in the afternoon which was perfect to take a break from the sun and heat. Sofia was great to communicate with prior and during our stay. We sadly didn't get to meet her because she was out of town. But when we had a small issue with the TV, she had someone come over and fix it. She also provided beach chairs and an umbrella that we used everyday. The cottage had everything we needed including lot of really nice fluffy towels! Thank you Sophia,

The house was immaculate. The location was pretty windy & wavy when we were there in March so keep this in mind if you plan to kayak, snorkel or swim. We were glad to have a rental car: groceries are 40min away. Gorgeous beaches everywhere. Can’t get over the colour of the water & the texture of the sand.

We really enjoyed our stay at Point of View. The house was comfortable and perfect for a couple. Great deck off back with wonderful views of the water. We used the small beach area almost every day. It was a wonderful week!

I stayed at this place from Aug1st - Aug 8th and didn't think I had issues until I get a message from the owner stating we put a hole in the wall, and took a bowl. I told her we did not and she sent pictures of a 1" hole that was behind a chair we never used. I got a claim today from my insurance that I have to pay. Also, we never even used their dishes because we ate out every meal and had 'to go' containers for our leftovers. BEWARE if your going to stay here because they left the home unlocked with the key on the dining room table. When we left nobody came to look at the place to verify nothing was wrong, which they should have. We only used the place to sleep and were never there during the day so I was baffled when the owner called and made that claim, which was very insulting. I have stayed in VRBO homes 5 times in The Bahamas and always left the place the way we arrived, which was very clean. Of course, many reading this will say I should have taken pictures when I left and I did. We washed the covers and put them back on the bed (that is sunken in towards the middle). The place looked as if nobody even stayed there when we left. I am not a young punk who trashes place where I stay, I am 49 years old. I take care of a place as if it were my own. I just feel very instulted at this claim, and this is a sign of petty things that can be accused against you. It's not the money, because that to me is very minimal. It is being accused of something that you know for a fact you didn't do. SO IF YOU WANT TO STAY AT THIS HOME BEWARE!!

Had such an incredible stay at Point Of View. Beautiful home with incredible view as well as gorgeous private beach. A bit off the beaten path which is exactly what we were looking for. Plenty of small stores and wonderful restaurants close by for groceries and dinner. Rented a 15' Boston Whaler for a day from Island Exclusive Boat Rentals and Tours. Well worth every penny and they were so incredibly accommodating. They brought the rental boat to us from Georgetown. Highly recommend them for a boat rental. Point Of View is by far one of the nicest rentals we've had the pleasure of staying at with vtbo. Highly recommend this beautiful property. We cannot thank Don and Sophia enough for sharing their beautiful home.

We loved our trip! The cottage was on a quiet part of the island. It was a great size and exactly as shown in the listing. Just down the stairs was a great, virtually private beach! We only saw a couple of people walking along the beach over the course of the week. Otherwise, it was all ours!! The water was absolutely gorgeous!!! There was a great deck with loungers and chairs as well as beach chairs and an umbrella. Sophia was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to all our inquiries/needs. The cottage is a bit of a drive to GeorgeTown, but we enjoyed the peace and serenity. Plus, we were closer to Exuma Water Sports, where we did our excursion, which was amazing! Thanks for a relaxing trip to beautiful Exuma!

Stay: 1 week in May 2022 Modern rental. Nice interior. It is advisable to rent a car. Things to consider: The beach house is at the very tip of Exuma. There is 1 road that will take you to the beach house. The road becomes 1 lane near the beach house. Driving to the beach house can be confusing because you must make a turn onto a 1 lane road. Therefore, I recommend arriving early in the day. -Go to the grocery stores prior to driving at the beach house because there is 1 restaurant in walking distance along the Beach. It was only open on Sunday and no other days of the week during my stay. Things to bring with you: -Kitchen towels from Dollar Tree (if you are from the USA), only 1 kitchen towel was provided and only 1 roll of paper towels was provided. Pay it forward and leave the Dollar Tree kitchen towels when you leave or throw them away. -Costco flushable wipes. The toilet paper provided was very thin. If you don't use the wipes, you can take them home with you. -Book light or Neck Light (look it up on Amazon) if you like to read in bed at night or on the couch. The beach house had 1 lamp in the living room area and the light bulb was low wattage which made reading impossible, I ended up using the flash light on my phone. -Buy Tide (or your favorite laundry detergent) in disposable pouches (available on Amazon). I took a 1/2 filled pouch with me and it was enough for a week. Everything on the island is expensive. Items were 3 x the cost compared to prices on the east coast (mid-Atlantic area) of the USA. -Bring spices, tea, snacks, ziploc bags with you. -Be sure to take before pictures of the beach house and after pictures in order to prove that you did not damage anything within the beach house. Send the owner pictures of any damage that you find. I found quite a bit of damage and sent pictures to the owner as discovered. -When arriving, take your luggage into the house via the back deck since there are a lot of steps at the front door. -Print out maps of the island and bring them with you, this will be helpful as you drive to various beaches and visit various sites.

This cottage provided the perfect relaxing getaway for me and my wife! It is on the northern tip of the island but if you are looking for seclusion with a private beach this place is perfect! Sophia is an INCREDIBLE host! She is extremely responsive and does absolutely anything she can to ensure your stay is as amazing as possible! 5 STARS ALL THE WAY!

My husband and I loved staying in this little beach house! Amazing views, great beach, very neat and well stocked. You definitely need a car, but it's essential to have one anyway. There is so much to do in Exuma and this was the perfect retreat at the end of the day! Thanks for a great stay!!

Great house, great host, great escape... Perfect getaway with a feast for the eyes. We enjoyed the feel of seclusion and the beautiful blue hues as a focal point as well as the night sky. This was a great place to relax and get out and explore the surroundings! We hope to return again in the future for another wonderful stay.

This property is AMAZING! The online photos do not do it justice. You can watch the sunset from the front porch and the sunrise from the back! Private, gorgeous, and just amazing. 100% would stay again!

This is the best one bedroom rental we’ve had on the island. Beautiful setting, beautiful home! We loved the location - private and serene, close to one of the best beaches (Coco Plum) and great restaurants (Exuma Point, Shoreline, Big D’s). We will definitely be back!

Point of View is an ideal destination for someone seeking privacy and spectacular ocean views. Our stay was relaxing and enjoyable. Sophia and Don were excellent hosts, very helpful in every way. We would highly recommend this cottage for someone seeking a quite, relaxing getaway. We would definitely return without a moment’s hesitation.

We loved our stay at Point of View! The house is so clean and well equipped for cooking. We cooked in every meal but one! The view is unbelievable, we loved listening to the waves! The bed was so comfortable and the shower was clean and very large! Plenty of towels and nice beach towels were there to use.The house was tastefully decorated with nice furniture! We loved it we had a great relaxing vacation and enjoyed the privacy and the view! This is a great house , thank you!

Perfect accommodations if you want time away to spend together! The property is very cozy and comfortable with a view that’s indescribable! Beautiful private beach in front of the property and the sound of the waves crashing on the nearby rocks was so calming! Sophia was a great host answering all of our questions immediately! We hope to visit Exuma again and if we do we hope to stay at this location again!

This cottage is exactly as described. It is very clean and sits right on the water. The kitchen comes well equipped for those who like to cook for themselves. The bathroom is gorgeous and comes with plenty of towels. You are a bit removed from everything but that was perfect for us. Sophia was quick to respond to questions. I highly recommend staying here.

This property is absolutely amazing. It's just as advertised, very clean, modern amenities, stocked with all the things you'll need to enjoy your vacation. It's located in a secluded area on the north side of the island. It's very easy to find and a very quiet part of the island. There is a lovely beach just steps down from the house. The beach was private and we only saw other people out there once. A short walk from the house is Exuma Point Bar and Grill. They had amazing food and drinks and it was fun to walk there and back. There is an interesting cave to explore along the way. Sophia had great suggestions on places to go and things to do. She recommended a boat operator that took us on an amazing day trip to see the area. This is a really nice secluded spot perfect for a romantic getaway, a nice solo beach trip or even a small family. Wifi is provided. You will need to rent a car which is easy to do at the airport. Coco Plum beach is a short drive from the house and it was amazing. We also drove all over the island checking out the sights. We particularly enjoyed the view. Waking up to a beautiful quiet beach and enjoying the dark sky full of bright stars at night. This really was an amazing place and we highly recommend it.

If I could rate it as 100 stars, I would!! Hopefully we will be returning often :)

Quiet and picturesque! Perfect for a couples relaxing getaway. Very comfortable and clean. Couldn't ask for a better location . Right on some of the most beautiful beaches. Kitchen is perfect and the grill is great on the deck fir staying in and enjoying the views.

All I can say is that the description and the actually house and amazing views are under represented by the pictures!! The house is tastefully and beautifully decorated and constructed . Lovely neutral to green, turquoise and blue shades of furniture decor accentuates the beautiful ams goegous water merely 30 ft away from the large back porch. The huge porch overlooks the scenic ocean and there are very quiet and accessible beaches within less than 200 steps away ! My husband and I had a fabulous time and it was our peace of heaven! Can’t wait to recommend to friends and family! Sophia is a great hostess and very responsive! House has a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom! Exuma Point is the place to be if you love quiet beautiful turquoise ocean vote and vast serenity!!

This home was so cute, and perfect for the two of us! We arrived at check in a little late, and Sophia greeted us and gave us fresh water for the evening since nothing was open. We did not experience any problems while we were there, but she was close by if we needed anything.The views from the deck are incredible, and you could see the ocean from both sides of the home. I enjoyed looking out the front door each evening, watching the sunset and seeing the beautiful ocean view. Loved the walk way down to the ocean. Super secure and beautiful for pictures!I enjoyed a bike ride one evening as well. Thanks for having those handy! Shoreline is a quick 5 minute drive from the house, and it ended up being out favorite place to eat!Thanks again!
