Good location, good value, helpful staff

Not their fault but in the dorm room a couple kept chatting after 2am in the morning.

Each bed has its own receptacles and light. The place is fairly clean. Good size room for 2 bunk beds

The check in time according to Booking.com is 12 noon. I checked out from another hostel at 10 am, wait around then walked to Hostel Yatel at noon. But I was told the check-in time was 2pm. I had to leave. Returned again at 2pm but the room was still not ready. Waiting around, I had to ask the lady receptionist to check the progress a couple of times. The room finally was ready at 2:45pm. By then half of the day was gone. This is totally unacceptable. The kitchen counter by the sink where people put clean washed dishes on is made of wood that is full of black mold. (There is no drain basket, dishes are sitting on the wet black moldy wood.)

Cheap and clean hostel, very basic but has everything you need. Good breakfast

Dorm rooms are very scarcely furnished, no hooks or shelves or anything for clothes. Just a few beds and that's it. It's okay if you only spend a night, but a little more attention to detail would be nice.

The staff is really polite and very nice. The guests as well. The place is very clean and have big space outside as well. Very simple (it's a histwl!) but conformable. Close to the main street with all facilities in the nearby and also 1 km from the lake in the other direction.

The credit card machine was faulty during the checkout. I had to pay with real because I had no pesos, but at least the staff was in according with the exchange value.

Damian at front desk was incredible as he helped me so much and I appreciate what he did for me.

A really cosy place were you will feel at home for sure. It is a social place and it is very easy to meet other travellers here. The staff is very kind and will help you with all the information you need. You can also book excursions here for a really good price. Hostel Yatel was in a perfect location for me. It is in a very quiet neighbourhood but still only a two minute walk from the main street. I highly recommend this place!

There's heating in the room, the staff were really kind, the kitchen was very nice and there's also kind of a lounge room available, the location is really good!

The shared bathroom stalls are extremely small and uncomfortable, there was no hand soap. The room is super basic, just a bed and a small shelf unit, and barely any outlets. The front door lock from outside didn't always work, and a lot of times there was nobody at the front desk.

Nice staff, great common areas and great place to be.

We are highly recommend YATEL Hostel! The locationis is perfect, the kitchen is fully equiped, the atmospher is pleasent, And the stuff was very kind and nice.

The only positive thing was to have the room for myself since i quess there were no other guests in the hostel at the same time and thus also no queue to bathroom.

Overall, i was quite dissapointed! It was old and worn inside, partly smelly, the staff played music and talked loud late till the night on both evenings (normal Tue and Wed evening/night) and there were heavy smell of smoking downstairs on the following morning. On the first morning, there were four pieces of plain wheat toast, some weird paste, butter and coffee available, but even though I had said when checking in that on the second morning i will leave earlier (by 7am) there were no breakfast. I did not feel fair to pay for this accommodation, but left money on the desk in the lobby. Almost did not get out of the building since the door was locked and the keys on a table next to the door did not match with the lock. Luckily, the old doors opened just by pushing from the middle away from each other and pushed them back after leaving the building. Felt so secure..
