Great house

The property is beautiful, clean, and has all the amenities needed to enjoy a fun family getaway. The stairs are a littel tiring but the porch area underneath is alot of fun. Fantastic location!

This property was a fantastic choice for our large family including young children. Plenty of space and the two casitas were perfect for those who wanted more privacy. River access was amazing and back patio was lovely.

The house was the perfect size for us and the location was great. Our only complaint is that the hot water did not work in the upstairs bathroom, and there was no central air in the small bedroom on the first floor.

We really enjoyed our time at Life is Gruene, this property is clean, comfortable, equipped and beautifully decorated. Looking forward to a next visit!

Awesome! However, there was a little mouse who wad quite the host! He came from the laundry room and is quite familiar with the kitchen. He peeked out every now and then to check on us, lol. Just wanted you to know. We really enjoyed our stay!

Our group had the most relaxing time! Just hearing the river by the fire pit was enough for 5 stars of this property!!!!!! It’s beautiful with a great layout for a group, plenty of space to spread out and relax!

Wonderful get away, beautiful and scenic property, indoors a bit tricky for larger groups to gather with limited seating but the really wonderful part of this property sits outside not inside. A bit silly to charge $20 for bundles of wood for fire pit but hey, if you can get it go for it!

This is our second time to rent this vacation home and it was another great experience! The process of booking and check-in is very easy. Responses within minutes for any question we had in preparation and during the trip - everyone is very attentive and so accommodating! The house is just perfect for our large crew and we love the river access. It’s a great spot to be able to float, ride the rapids, or sit in the shade. Highly recommend!

The house was incredible!! Everything we needed was at the house and it was such a relaxing time for our family to gather, remember and relax.This placing amazing, I loved everything about it!!

The house was a little smaller than what the pics showed but very nice! We had 15 (2 that were 2 and under) and seemed to have enough room for everyone. Loved the outdoor tv (football of course), and the fire pit was utilized every night (be sure you bring your own wood!).....the TVs were a little hard to figure out, but once we found the regular channels with our football games, all was good. We always leave a tip for the housekeepers, but we learned just before checking out that we were required to strip all beds and towels which we found a little unusual for what we were paying for the house, so we opted not to leave any extra gratuity.All in all, we enjoyed our stay very much....

Beautiful property that was perfect for our group to hang out and "socially distance" in the outdoor areas. The adults and teens loved being on the river, sitting by the fire and we even had a shrimp boil and played family games outdoors. Highly recommend this house.

Used as central location for lead up to and clean up for my daughters wedding In New Braunfels. Loved the place except lower bedroom(s) ventilation needs improved. Rooms smelled musty. We aired out and used but could have been better. Thought it kinda strange at end of stay to be asked to take sheets off this number of beds at facility of this caliber. Would have been a 5 except for those things! Great location! Great set up!

This home has all the features of a lodge, with an excellent layout, located right on the Guadalupe River in New Braunfels! Tubing companies are near, however most are closed (due to Covid-19) or allow you to use your own tubes. Make sure you verify if you are considering floating! If the weather is warm you can still enjoy the river (we did although we had slightly cooler temperatures!) The property is spacious with just one neighbor and the grounds keeper. The firepit and outdoor patio are awesome with plenty of space, lawn chairs and tables. A gas grill is avaialble, however I would recommend the owners add charcoal for grilling aficionados! There are 7 bedrooms on this property, we used 5. The remaining 2 rooms are twin beds. With this in mind unless you have small children, you should be able to have 14 adults, as long as they don't mind the smaller beds! I would book this property again without hesitation! For a large group, I doubt you will find a better property or location!

My 2 brothers & I got together for one night before my youngest brother’s wedding that weekend. We had an amazing time at the property, wish we had more time together & will be back in the future!
