Easy and comfortable house. Lots of beds and sitting areas. Enjoyed the pool, hot tub and fire pit. Beautiful view of the lake.

The property was great for our family of 13-plenty of space for everyone. The backyard is wonderful with pool, hot tub, and a fire pit that was great for making S’mores. The property manager responded to any questions promptly and courteously. The view from the front of the house much better than the pictures show-a great spot to watch the sunset over the lake. Would highly recommend.

I’m not sure where to begin. This property is amazing! We had 16 people in for our daughter’s wedding. The location is perfect. The views are breathtaking. There was so much room for everyone. The pool, hot tub and fire pit were an added bonus that we throughly enjoyed. The kitchen was well stocked. The second refrigerator in the garage was handy. They have thought of everything . Would love to return again! The local host was very helpful and responsive as well. Don’t think twice about booking!

We had a great week together at this home. All of our children and grandchildren enjoyed the pool during the day and the fire pit at night! Lots of spaces to spread out!

The house was perfect for our family vacation. The front porch made sunset watching very easy for everyone and the pool/spa/grill in the backyard were also easily accessible and enjoyed by everyone.

Wonderful home which accommodated 3 large families. Rooms are clean, well appointed kitchen, great pool, hot tub and fire pit. Plenty of parking. Home has great wifi but poor cell service, lots of space, good bathrooms all over including an outdoor shower, and a double washer and dryer. Neighborhood is quiet and home is on a cul de sac. There are wonderful views of the lake but no real access. Beaches and downtown require at least a 5 to 10 minute drive or bike ride. Walking impractical. Minor issues were taken care of quickly by property manager. Great property, definitely was pricey but memories and experiences were worth it.

Great home with well maintained pool and hot tub. Very spacious with plenty of areas to hang out, read a book, or play games. Pictures were accurate, no surprises, everying was as expected. Our host was very responsive to questions. Two refrigerators a blessing for our large group.

We had a wonderful time! The place was amazing—plenty of space for our group of 16. We cooked in all but one night and really appreciated the well-equipped kitchen. Pool area with hot tub, fire pit and grill was fantastic! Beautiful lake views. We brought bikes, which was helpful, since there is no beach access and South Beach is just a short ride away. Highly recommend.

Cannot say enough about outside area. It is wonderful with plenty of seating, beautiful pool, hot tub, grill and the family spent a lot of time there. Inside space eating area was nice but not a lot of seating to all be together to watch a movie. Lots of smaller areas to sit. Lots of amenities like toilet paper and supplies. Our one big disappointment was my husband and I got Covid. We contacted the owner to see if we could move our dates to anytime, even if it was next year. The owner flatly refused and said he is in the medical field and Covid is not as bad as it once was. He told us to go ahead and come. It is a big house and we could wear a mask or stay away from each other! I was shocked! My three children, their spouses and seven grandchildren were all coming together. I would NEVER have exposed them all. I so wanted a house big enough for my whole family. He would not have lost the money, we would have just went at a different time. I own a rental home near Disney and have always had the compassion to change the dates if someone was seriously sick or if they got Covid. It is unfortunate that we did not get to enjoy our vacation together. It is certainly not his fault that we got Covid, but he could moved us to anytime as we asked even if it was next year. So we will plan another vacation sometime and Lord willing we will all stay healthy….but we will not be staying here. God bless!

The house was perfect for our fall break. It was fun to experience south haven in the fall and the heated pool kept us outside most of the time.

We had such a wonderful time at this home. 3 generations from 73 to 2 years old. Plenty of room, the house and views were awesome. The pool really made the vacation. The kids were swimming all the time. The property manager was very helpful and willing to go the extra mile to make us feel at home. It couldn’t have been better!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our week at your lovely property. Your home is spacious and suited our group. Your backyard pool kept the young ones busy for hours and the easy access to the beach was convenient. We had a great week.

We had a great experience in South Haven. The house was beautiful with gorgeous sunset views and enough space for everyone. The host was very attentive and helpful to our questions.

My family had a wonderful time during our family vacation. This was our second year at the Evergreen House and once again we were blessed with a great experience at the house. There were 8 adults and 4 children. The house was very large with plenty of space for everyone. There are several living areas along with the seven bedrooms and four full baths. All were excellent. Our favorite once again was the second floor living room and balcony ... great for quiet sunset viewing! The house is very well equipped and set-up for rental ... very nice but also kid friendly. The top feature was the heated pool and backyard garden area. The weather was generally good although a bit cool. The heated pool was great and our family spent many hours at the pool. It was a struggle each day to get our youngest grandchildren out of the pool. With the great house location sunset viewing out over Lake Michigan each day was also a ritual … with some amazing views. Overall a great house and a great vacation!

We took our four adult children, spouses and grandchildren to South Haven for a family vacation. I can not say enough great things about this house! The location is perfect, minutes from town, the lake is literally at the end of the drive. We watched the sunsets every night. The children played out front because the house is on a dead-end cul-de-sac. It is so private! the pool area is fantastic! So many chairs, two grills and two firepits. The inside was perfect! Plenty of sleeping arrangements, bathrooms and common areas. It could not have gone any better. The photos do not do it justice. South Haven is a beautiful quaint town. We hope to visit again. Thank you!

The property was outstanding, the pool was a big hit with the kids. We were unable to find much to do in the area because things are just starting to open up full-time again. We had a great time.

I stayed here this past weekend with a group a guys- a little different than the apparent family style vacation, but more on that later. Firstly, the house was immaculate. It was very open and spacious, had rooms on every floor, and the pool in the backyard was great. It was covered with an easy-to-use automatic cover and the pool itself was heated. Unfortunately, that’s where the positive review stops. The second person to show up on Friday (at 4:30 PM) parked in the street in front of the neighbors yard. For reference, the neighbor is two steps away from the front yard of our house, so everyone is very close. The neighbor proceeded to yell at the guy before he even could get out of his car to move, which he happily obliged to. Another person showed up a little later and, again, parked in front of the neighbors lawn. She again yelled at them, who moved right away, but then the neighbor proceeded to walk over, through the front door and into our house (which is unlawful entry). I tried to talk to her about the parking because we did not know any better, but she was not friendly at all. She wanted parking in a very specific way, and when she did not get that, she told me to “F*** off” and that she would call the property manager. Fast forward to around 7 and a police officer shows up. He laughed at the complaint, but helped sort out the parking situation with no problem. He then told us “the locals here are entitled and hate house rentals.” That is coming from a local police officer who, because he was so friendly, might be the only reason I ever come back to south haven. Fast forward to around 9 PM and the property manager shows up and contradicts everything the police officer said about parking. That later got sorted out but she also was not the friendliest person and accused me or some things that I have proof in writing are not accurate. She then told us that if she got a noise complaint after 11, that we would be immediately evicted. We had a neighbor that called the cops on four people for parking, before 7 o’clock-there is no way I could promise that the neighbor would not call again but I promised I would do my best. Again she threatened fines and eviction. Additionally, the property manager added information to the “check in process” tab that says no noise after 9 (changed from 11 PM) and to be respectful of the neighbors and to treat them how we want to be treated. Overall, nice house, terrible neighbors and not a good property manager

We had a great time at this property. It was very clean and had all the space we needed to accommodate 8 adults and 9 kids(1-9yo). We couldn’t use the pool but the backyard pool area looked really nice and would be amazing in the summer months. The communication with the host was easy and quick and she answered any questions or concerns we had almost immediately. The owner was also very responsive and great to work with. View from the balcony and front yard is amazing, you’re literally on the water. Close to town and beaches, at end of a private road, and lots of privacy made it a great choice and stay for our group. Would definitely consider coming back. Thank you!

Amazing house with great common spaces across three floors. Great downstairs TV room/play area for kids to hang out, lovely main floor (nice fireplace sitting area, large kitchen, large dining room table.) and great upstairs sitting area and TV area outside main bedrooms. We went over New Years and was great house to hang out inside as weather was winterlike!

Great, spacious, light-filled home with beautiful lakefront view. Well stocked kitchen, multiple common areas. Direct access to waterfront path/trail would've been ideal.

One of the main reasons we stayed at this property was for the heated pool. Unfortunately the pool was not heated and even when we contacted the manager we were not able to get a fix. I would also highlight that only one bedroom has an attached bathroom. The location was great, there was a lot of space and we enjoyed the lake.

Great view and location. Place was very clean with lots of amenities (beautiful heated pool, fire table, grill, Viking stove) and tons of small stuff provided also (paper products, tons of dishes, towels etc). A little dated style but everything was very comfortable and we had a great time. Only issue was the entry code to get in the house was wrong in our email and a phone call to the manager went unanswered. We got lucky as my husband guessed and changed it but otherwise we would not have gotten in. Manager should get this feedback!!!

The property was exactly as described, we had plenty of space to stretch out, great areas to gather and talk, lovely backyard pool beautifully landscaped. The kitchen was very well equipped, and we enjoyed cooking for our group of 14, and especially enjoyed the big country table able to seat all of us. Great trip and we would highly recommend this VRBO!
