Property was perfect...clean, comfortable beds, AC worked well and plenty of hot water for all of us to shower. We spent many mornings and evenings on the balcony as it had an amazing view with sounds of the ocean waves. Close proximity to excursions and dining. Krain was a huge help in arranging the excursions on short notice. Because the property is perched on a steep hill with dirt roads, golf carts are not an option for getting around, thus car rental is a must. We needed the larger size vehicle for our group so rented a Toyota Fortuner (US equivalent of a 4-runner). Parking was doable but a bit tight so would recommend a bit smaller vehicle. FYI I was a bit nervous about driving in a foreign country but it was not a problem at all). We all had a great first-time experience in Costa Rica and plan to return for a longer stay at the Towers!

Our condo was in pristine condition, very clean, very quiet and close to everything. Easy and clear instructions emailed to me by management. I do not recommend walking as you’re on a dirt road and there are some loose cattle and lots of dust when people drive by; if you don’t mind this, it is close enough to walk to the beach and restaurants. The home itself is lovely, very well stocked. The view and the pool both are amazing. Elevators worked great. Attendants on site very helpful. I did email questions about the sailing center that were never answered by Krain, but no matter, I just showed up to sailing center and told them where we were staying and they honored the discount as advertised. Would definitely recommend this condo and we will return.

When we read the other reviews, we knew we wanted to stay at Flamingo Towers. It sounded absolutely perfect and it was. It exceeded our expectations on all levels. The view absolutely cannot be beat and the condo itself had everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

We looked at the pictures and thought to ourselves ‘there’s no way that this is the view we get for this price’. Well, turns out this is the actual view. Everything in this condo is PERFECT. 2 minutes drive to an almost private beach, howler monkeys every morning, beautiful sunsets. I didn’t want to go back home after. This condo also has everything you might need - beach chairs, cooler, beach towels, cookware, tupperwares etc. A great plus too is that the parking lot is covered which is amazing for keeping the car somewhat cool when the temperatures reach 40+. The pools were really clean too and not too busy. There’s a lot of great restaurants near by too. Krain team was very responsive to our messages. They would recommend restaurants, activities and they even let us do a late checkout. We truly enjoyed our stay.

The property itself was outstanding! Excellent views and close to shopping/beach area. The pools were very nice as well. Communications with Krain regarding check in were lacking. I reached out several times and kept hearing the property manager will reach out to you 2-3 days before check in. I heard from them less than 24 hours before check in time after I left messages/emails. It was to the point where I was starting to search for other places to stay. Also it is advertised that there is a sailing club membership. We went there, had dinner and tried to use the card only to learn it was expired.

Exactly as advertised. Close to beaches and incredible views. Property is well appointed and well stocked. Very clean and everything was in great working order. Outside the property is meticulously maintained including the pools. Covered parking is a nice bonus. Check in/out is very easy. Will definitely book this property again.

We really enjoyed having a boogie board, pool noodles, and beach towels to use! Internet TV allowed us to watch some shows in English in the evening while winding down. It was pouring rain the day we got in, so the first thing we noticed was the welcome convenience of covered parking in the tenant garage. From the moment we got in the door, it was readily apparent that we had picked the right place! It was very clean and the views were perfect. There was plenty of room and we also appreciated all of the extras like beach towels or soft coolers for the day, snacks after a long day of travel, and a complementary package of coffee for a first morning (not having had the chance to pick up coffee ourselves). We were close to plenty of great restaurants, beaches, and activities. There were even a few great breweries to check out for those who enjoy! Our host Tony was readily available to answer any questions or assist with any recommendations for information. A few previous reviews before our stay mentioned the road coming up and its true, a four-wheel-drive would definitely be better suited, BUT we witnessed plenty of cars & tour buses driving up. It’s an unpaved dirt road uphill which is mostly packed, though some of the uphill portions are affected by rainwater creating small crevices in the roads between the rocks which make it bumpy. Don’t worry let that stop you though—once you get to the top you’ll be glad you made the trek up!!

Beautiful view and location great service from The listing office

Our ten day stay at Corona del Mar was just what our family was looking for in a vacation. The unit is so lovely and relaxing on the balcony with that incredible view is breathtaking. We explored the area, shopped in Tamarindo, visited Diamante Eco Park and the hike in the Rincon de la Vieja volcano forest is a must. When we were not eating at several great restaurants, we cooked in the well stocked kitchen at the unit. Thanks to Tony our concierge for assistance during our stay, Costa Rica is an incredible place to visit.

WOW! What an amazing condo. The view alone is worth the trip but the condo is also adorable decorated making you feel very relaxed and in the ultimate vacay mode! Looking forward to coming back soon.

We loved this place so much me and my family would stay here again in the future! Who ever does the cleaning does an amazing job keeping it nice and cozy. The view is breath taking, in the middle of playa hermosa and tamarindo Beach. One of my favorite things there was there decoration the color makes the place so relaxing. They have everything you need! Happy we booked

My family and I thought we had the life of rich people staying at this place because it is so beautiful. We also went right after Labor Day and there was hardly anyone there, so we got the pool to ourselves most of the time. The view from the porches is gorgeous. The condo has everything you would possibly need. Absolutely no complaints on this condo. You'll feel like you are in an episode of Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous. If you want to go to the beach that has the island in some of the porch pictures, you just hang a right out of the condo and walk down the dirt road. You take another right onto a dirt road and have about a 1/4 - 1/2 mile walk to the beach. Also, do yourself a favor (if you have a car) to visit Playa Mina. It's a beach the locals told us about in the middle of nowhere and was gorgeous with great snorkeling. There is also Playa Penca (about 50 minute drive) which is close to Playa Hermosa and is where all the locals go. It was the prettiest beach we went to. Taking a drive to the Rincon de la Vieja volcano was about 2 hours from the condo, but worth it. We also visited the hot springs and mud baths there, though you pay $20 to do that as it is part of a hotel. Don't have any worries about this condo. You'll LOVE it!!!!

The condo was fantastic. Beautiful decor, everything you would need to enjoy your vacation. Amazing views, great location, wonderful pools. The pictures of the views from the porches are representative of the gorgeous views. We would definitely rent again if visiting the area. Each room had big TV with cable. The wifi internet was fast as well. We went during the off season right after Labor Day in September. This is the time to go. There was virtually no one at the pool, nor hardly anyone at restaurants. Do yourself a favor and check out the beach nearby where there are daily great sunsets. To access that beach just hang a left on the first dirt road when driving up to the condo. Also if you want some great snorkeling look up Penca Beach near Hermosa Beach. Another great local spot was Playa Mina. Finally, mind the speed traps. We got stopped on 155 and had to pay the traffic cop $35. Watch the speed limit. Unfortunately, they were only stopping tourists and wanted money without issuing a ticket. We found out from locals later that day that this was completely illegal. Bummer way to end what was a great visit.
