The pictures dont even capture the true beauty of the house. Plenty of things to do on property. The owner, was very nice and would definitely like to stay here again. Seriously, no need to look any further. Book here and you wont regret it

This property was a fantastic fit for our family vacation. I cannot speak highly enough about every aspect of our stay here from the location, to the home itself, to the thoughtfulness of the host. Our family will certainly be planning another visit to this property and I encourage anybody else considering the vacation rental to book it hastily. You will not be disappointed! The photos in the listing do not do justice to this magnificent property.

This is our second stay at Sawmill and it’s our absolute favorite place to be away from home. The pictures do not do this home justice. It’s beautiful and so cozy. The home has all the appliances you could ask for. We absolutely love this place and plan to book here every summer, it’s become a family tradition and we couldn’t be more excited!

House is massive and filled with tons of things to use while staying. We loved our time there and would love to come back.

This cottage is amazing, great view , clean and spacious enough to accommodate our family of 10 , The host was very comunicative and prompt to answer any question we had. We really enjoyed the games, the outdoors, canoeing , jacuzzi , and everything else in this cottage. Looking forward to our next visit.

The photos don’t do this property justice! Everything was absolutely beautiful and the space is MUCH larger than it appears in the photos. We were a group of 10 from ages 2 to 70 and there was ample room for everyone. The setting is gorgeous with an awesome back deck and dock. The owner has lots of activities there for every age group to enjoy. The owner was also fantastic, quick to answer any questions we had. The location is great, lots of amenities and activities close by. Only 30 mins to downtown Charlotte but feel like you’re a lifetime away. We have stayed in many VRBOs and so often you get there and there is literally one roll of toilet paper and one dishwashing tan, Bill has the placed pretty stocked, we of course used what we had packed but it was a nice change to see that we wouldn’t have run out of toilet paper our first day there if we hadn’t! Also plenty of blankets for those cold nights! Book this cabin, you won’t regret it!

We thoroughly enjoyed this spot for some year-end quiet time and planning. This is a combo mountain cabin/ lake house. Fun decor with bears and rustic wooden beams you'd see in a cabin, but truly beautiful views and all the fun of lake house activities... Plus all that Charlotte offers close by? Perfect! Host was easy to reach. It was just two of us this stay, but it's definitely laid out for families or a group of friends. Good combo of space and privacy.

This place was incredible. The ambiance was set right when you walked through the door and witnessed the amazing views. Bill the host was great to work with and very communicative throughout the process. Looking forward to staying here again in warmer weather. My husband, four children, and I needed somewhere to get away for a weekend before I went back to work. We found this gorgeous house and ended up getting to stay! My two oldest boys caught their first fish on real hooks (little blue gills) and my husband ended up hooking a monster! A 41 inch long flathead catfish! The home was beautiful and checking in and checking out was super simple. The owner was very helpful and had a great sense of humor! We hope to visit again in the future! Thank you!

We had an amazing experience. Perfect getaway for friends and family. The views of the lake and with so many great golf courses nearby makes it the perfect place. If only the Saints would have won lol! Thanks again we will be back soon.

We really enjoyed our stay. Three couples everyone had their own room and bath. Our daughter lives close by and was able to bring her pontoon boat up to our dock. Close to everything. Harris Tetter, Outback Steakhouse and many more restaurants. Shanes Barbecue had great peach cobbler which you can take to go. We loved sitting out on the many decks. The view was beautiful. Bill was easy to work with and hilarious sense of humor. He keeps the place in pristine condition and the view overlooking Lake Wylie is tough to beat. Really good location—only about 15 minutes from the airport. Awesome place that we would totally book again sometime—hopefully soon!

My friends and I loved this property. The views are amazing, it's clean and spacious, yet cozy. The owner was quick to respond to any questions. Comfy beds, comfy couches, a well-stocked kitchen and plenty of towels. Highly recommend.

Words can't describe this beautiful lake retreat. From the moment you are in contact with Bill, he makes you feel welcomed before you even arrive. Bill is the most generous, nicest & accommodating host you could ask for. He literally makes you feel like this is your home. The home is absolutely breathtaking with beautiful views and everything you will need entertainment wise. The views of the lake are mesmerizing. There are 3 sitting areas outside. We can't wait to have a reason to return to this cabin! If you are on the fence, just book it...it's worth every penny! The view, the entertainment, the property is so much fun and you just can't beat being on a lake and enjoying it from 100 feet up the hillside.

arrived and house exceeded our expectations. Property was close to shopping and restaurants. House was quiet and comfortable. The kitchen more than served our needs. View of the lake was amazing. The property owner Bill was very helpful and communicated well both before and during the stay. We look forward to coming back in the near future.

This was one of most beautiful places I’ve stayed. They have every form of entertainment from yard games to indoor activities. The owner was genuine and down to earth, he was helpful and attentive. We had 7 people staying their for 3 days and it felt as if we could fit 10 more with all the space. Hopefully we will be able to make it back in the future.

The house is great! Very close to Charlotte and the airport. Bill was very nice and accommodating!

View was spectacular! The house was as expected and didn't disappoint. Bill, the owner, helped with anything we needed via phone. Many papergoods were already there, check before you go shopping. Kids swam in the lake almost daily. Minimal boat traffic,very safe. Only thing I could say to help others during their stay is keep in mind the steps to the dock...100, we counted. This kept some of our guests from walking down but they were happy sitting on the expansive deck watching. Internet was not 100% all the time. We would stay here again in a heart beat. In fact many friends have already inquired about the place. Very convenient to stores. Grubub, instacart...etc. close to Charlotte so Amazon had 2 hour to 1 day shipping, prime members of course. Parking was plenty. Saw herds of deer.

Beautiful log cabin with a gorgeous view of Lake Wylie! Lots of seating upstairs and down, inside and out! The perfect choice for our small family wedding! Bill the owner was fantastic and so funny and helpful! The 3 bedrooms with en-suite baths suited our family perfectly! My daughter was so pleased and our guests really enjoyed themselves! I can’t thank Bill enough for everything!

Bill was so accommodating and friendly. Never too much for him to answer questions. One of the best vacations ever. Close to many things.

This property is absolutely stunning. The view alone takes the cake! The house was so clean and the furniture was sooo comfortable! The amenities in this home were great. The owner is hilarious and such a wonderful person to have met. He communicates great and made sure I knew any information needed. I can’t wait to stay at this beautiful home again.

This was the perfect getaway for two families with adult children during the pandemic. The property and views are beautiful, exactly as described, and more. Bill has a great sense of humor, responsive and a great host. We will definitely be back.

Great property. Location is ideal to be both on the lake and within 15 minutes of the major areas of Charlotte. Bill was incredibly responsive and checked in on us several times. The owners do have quite a sense of humor as you will see throughout the house. Will definitely look to rent the property again on our next trip to Charlotte.
