Only stayed 1 night and didn't go further than our room

The hotel's interior looks old and some areas need maintenance but it is clean and has good sound isolation.Staff was nice,location great & parking available. Rooms are well isolated as we heard no noise from other rooms and hotel was quite full. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quite spacious.

Hot/cold water regulation was broken,hotel staff was notified but it was not possible to fix it immediately due to long holidays. Showering was still possible but you the water was switching from hot to cold constantly. Breakfast buffet was quite poor: no vegetables,scrambled eggs very salty, insufficient personnel to clean & prepare tables after someone finished breakfast,refill coffee capsules etc.

No restaurant, no service at all.

The hotel is lovely and so are the staff.

The restaurant in the hotel and all the other restaurants in the town were closed because it was Wednesday. We didn't know this. We arrived late and found it very difficult to get something to eat in the town. In the end we found a bar where locals were watching football - better than nothing but stressful.

no pre warning of a closed restaurant and no bar. Also no bottle of water in room. Was it worth us leaving home??

We loved our room here,as both the bedroom and bathroom were very nicely designed and spacious,but maybe what we loved most of all,was the view from our window as evey morning we woke up to the sun on the Roman bridge crossing the river to the town!We found it also very reasonably priced for August,so much so that we extended our stay! All in all,highly recommended!!

There was a problem one day with the water but that was something the hotel had no control over -rather it was something to do with the local supply in the town itself

One room was very good, -excellent. the other night we received a room with no fridge, one bulb didnt work. The room was quiet, nice view. Good value
