Location is fantastic

Dirty needs a good clean broken window in the room. Poor lighting so you can't see the dirt. They take £100 security deposit very slow to return it. I was advised to not stay in the property by customer service tried to contact the hotel but no answer It's basically a bed sit not a hotel

Arrived at the property for 3pm and couldn't gain access. Wasted 1.5 hrs trying to contact the hotel and during this time an additional 2 other guests arrived and both experienced the same issue. Had to resort to booking a last minute room a few streets away which gave a roof overnight and allowed me to attend the event I travelled to see although I lost almost 2.5 faffing about. I did speak to a guest who left the hotel as I was waiting to access the black hotel and the photos he shared was quite shocking. Filthy rooms, filthy windows so glad it worked out the way it did

The location was great, short 10 min walk to central Brighton and next to the beach.

There are no staff available to assist with anything related to the stay. Check in online and through booking.com messenger. High deposit for a room that is already battered and broken. Difficult to check in as codes are sent on the day at check in time only if you have paid deposit and uploaded ID. Many other guests not aware of this so they were stuck outside and could not access there room until much later. Door was a Yale lock that occasionally got stuck. Had to check out at 10am which seems harsh as most didn’t check in to hotel until much later! Good job we just needed somewhere to sleep after the gig.

The lights in the bedroom

It’s very dark in hallways and was difficult to open the lock for the keys, there was only one and glass in the room, the shower was very small and there was no one to asked any information and also the hot tub wasn’t visible for one to be interest me.

Location was perfect. 4 minute walk from the beach. 10 minutes from the centre.

Tiny rooms. No parking. Very difficult check in, various codes and no staff. Mattress heavily stained. Shower very poor, no pressure. Only decaf coffee and sugar was in wet packets. No catch to keep windows open.

Left me out in streets with dog because wouldn't let me in without photo I'd telling me it's the law I had other photo I'd and proof address and card I booked with but still would have it and charged me 40 pound for privilege oh and I'm disabled wich I told them. Heartless money grabbers

How a foreign national can lecture me about what is and what is not law in me own country. You and your company policy let a disables man and his dog stay in a park for the night and charge for it gave me 4 pound back

the guests were making noise, charging a deposit is silly, no reception staff , the room wasn’t clean there was a leak in the bathroom by the toilet and at night it makes noise from next door, no toilet paper only one roll! shower was small

Great location in popular Kemp Town, close to the seafront. Low price.

I didn’t like that upon check-in I was charged £100 „refundable security deposit” which was unexpected and considering I only paid £25 for a one-night stay £100 unexpectedly taken off my account was a lot of money for a budget traveler. The deposit was refunded after about a week but I’m not going to lie I was quite anxious and worried I wasn’t going to see that £100 again.

Nothing didn’t get chance to stop

Management of the property was terrible, we arrived about 22:00 couldn’t get into the main building we were there for about 30 mins until another guest opened the door we then proceeded to try and use the code to access the room and the code we were given was wrong. We phoned over 20 times couldn’t get through to any of the numbers given so ended up not stopping at the property and having to find another one down the road. Spoke to 2 guests inside the building both said terrible service. The management will not refund me the money. I’d advise not to book this hotel

when I booked it didn’t say I would have to put £100.00 deposit the furniture in the very small room basic the shelf’s are poorly designed please do not lean on anything it’s a very small room I lent on a shelf and guess what it fell apart so now I will have to wait to see what part of my deposit or all of the £100 because of this shelf it’s not value for money

the tv didn’t work no digital signal the bed mattress I could feel the springs you can not get hold of anyone once they have your money they then don’t care about you the place looks like a ymca youth hostel the 100 pounds deposit could be a scam it’s there for damage well as the furniture is so basic and poorly designed it’s designed for them to take your money and not a thing you can do about it so when you see £30 pound and Brighton please don’t think your getting a bargain avoid this place there are better hotels and bed and breakfasts around that won’t rip you off do not book this property you will find it’s hard to get hold of someone as it’s only emails or texts and once they have your money that’s it the rooms are no bigger than a prison cell cramped hence why I lent on a shelf that is badly built if the room was bigger I wouldn’t had to lean on this shelf they keep the deposit on damaged even thou it was an accident they will still keep your £100 pounds

Over 5 days before my hotel stay date and within 12 hours of booking, I was requested to provide a booking holder fee on top of the rate which was far over twice the single night stay. I contacted bookings.com with my reservations but due a budget work visit I needed a place to stay for the night. They emailed me 11 times tantamount to spamming in the week (direct to email) but at no time did they clearly explain that the actual info to get into the hotel room would be on the bookings.com app only. Took half an hour to get into hotel, and then I find a sign on the back of the door saying 'close door when showering as to not sound the fire (?) alarm otherwise a charge will be incurred' . I closed the door to shower, in a very tight space and the shower cubicle preceded to fill up with water until I was literally swimming in other people's hair as the joints of the shower leaked. I contacted the hotel and they said they would have someone round in the morning, but that 'the shower leaks'. I promptly left the hotel after 1 hour stay as to secure my holding fee. They do not provide even tooth paste or shampoo and conditioner. I still have not received my refund for the stay itself just deposit. One other couple had a similar experience in the same night whom I met in the hotel opposite. Stay at own risk. I believe this to be a potential scam.

I Have not been able to talk wiith the hotel staff.I was under informed about the £100 deposit In the mobile text it was demand to pay but not mentioned what For! So I' have cancelled and could not re- vert to my original intention to stay for One night. I have paid £100 deposit eventually.My deposit Needs t be returned and hopefully the incompetent System run by Opodo may have Guts to compensate for my loss of time, stress, money!!

It is near to the beach and downtown

It is small, no space, the light in the bath didn‘t work but you were not allowed to shower with the door open because of the fire alarm, so we could not shower. you have to pay a high caution for the inhoud of the minibar, but there was only a melted icecream in it. we felt messed around. The worsest hotel of our hole vacancies.

Everything! No staff! No reception! Poo/ blood and other stains on the walls and a stain on the bed. Found weed left in the bathroom bin which stunk out the whole room! Tv didn’t work and remote control was low battery so could do anything! Fridge was off and no way of turning it on and built into the wall with the lead. We were left with a use toilet roll so who knows where that has been. was only there for about 20 minutes and left and came home as we couldn’t stay any longer.

The location fantastic and staff I did meet were super helpful. All messages were answered quickly and without feeling like you were talking to someone faceless. My requests were all answered and in a timely fashion so I didn't feel like I was left hanging. Really really clean and lovely housekeeping staff helping making room transfer seamless!

I think that at booking it should have been made much more clear that a £100 deposit is required. I'm fortunate to have the funds in my account but some may just budget for the room as the price that comes up on the app is what you pay. . Unfortunately the family room that we booked was a little small and very dark no lighting. But the double is amazing...large and light.perfect
