Check in was poor..having been told we could source car park ticket on arrival was met with a grunt and a “I’ve just run out”
Went and parked. Got back in and was told “I’ve just found one@ no apology..no try to resolve at the time.
Shower pressure poor.

5 min walk from shops and restaurants. Comfortable rooms and good breakfast

great location, and the place is beautifully designed and lit - it looks very attractive and welcoming
very poor shower pressure. I felt like I was being peed on by an incontinent flea.
When I stayed, the outside temperature was sub-zero and the hotel’s heating wasn’t working. It was an uncomfortable night. At breakfast I could see my breath in front of my face!
The staff didn’t seem too bothered.

The breakfast selection was great, staff were excellent.
I stayed in room 12, which was close to the venue room, it would of been nice to be advised that there was a celebration happening till 11am, so I would of been aware of the noise & people talking outside the door. When I went to reception to find out what time the celebration what ending the receptionist on didn’t take my question seriously & her answer wasn’t appropriate.

The staff was friendly & very accommodating. We booked in at 2pm & we were hungry, restaurant was busy but they got us a table. The food was very tasty & good portion size with quality service from water. Our room was lovely with a view of the river. We had breakfast included & what a nice breakfast selection. I can highly recommend The Bell Hotel.

Staff very friendly and we were very impressed at dinner (on Sunday evening) when we asked for cheese which wasn’t on menu as Sundays is low key but they rustled up two lovely plates of cheese and fruit as we were a large party - so well done to all.
Well for money it was excellent value
