Mountain View and comfortable staying.

I like that I can see mount Fuji with lake Shoji from my room and with affordable price compared to other hotels. I also like cleaning staffs as they were very friendly and helpful. They did very good job of cleaning my messy room.

I'd say location is a bit far (20-30min drive) from main attractions e.g. those around lake Kawaguchiko. The receptionist not always at the reception and one time I called and no one showed up.

The view from my room was outstanding, I'll provide some pictures. Bus stop two minute walk away. On the edge of Lake Shojiko. I was very lucky to go on an absolutely stunning day of weather. Breakfast provided. Dinner is also available however I didn't have this. The room was spacious. Bike rental is available as well for a fair price. The staff were lovely and helpful. Large shower room and bath with a view of Fuji if you open the shutters in the room. Near a popular hiking spot as well which is rewarded with multiple stunning views and the obvious sense of achievement 😂. I found the whole day magical and wish I would have stayed an extra day.

Hotel in very nice location. There is a small lake in front of the hotel with Mount Fuji in the background. This view can be seen through the window of my room. Very good japanese styled breakfast. Very helpful owner and staff.

Amazing view from our room. Onsen was wonderful. Staff was wonderful. Dinner was very delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shoji Mount Hotel.

Very remote from all civilization. Ok if you know ahead of time. We brought our own supplies (Vodka). Made our own private party with live entertainment of the ever changing view of Mt Fuji.

The location is fantastic. The hotel and hosts are great, the food is excellent and it was definitely was one of our favourite places in Japan, and we have seen a lot of places in Japan.

We loved everything about our stay! The hotel manager was really hospitable and kind. We booked a room with a view of Mt. Fuji and it was more beautiful than we imagined! The food they served us for dinner and breakfast were made with care and they were delicious.

We're not sure whether if they didn't or couldn't properly clean the bathroom. There was mold on the ceilling, exhaust vent and on the window shade when we pulled it down.

The hotel was really nice and very clean. The breakfast buffet had a lot of options and the food was really delicious. They lent the bikes for free and we were able to cycle to the nearby lake. The hotel has a very good view of Mt Fuji. Highly recommended ti stay here.
