Great breakfast and restaurant in-house,
Great location - actually snowboard in and snowboard out!
Staff were fantastic, super helpful and very efficient
Rooms are large and clean
Shared areas are also clean and well maintained, particularly the shared shower area

Bed was very nice and a lot bigger than expected.

Delicious breakfast, great room with mezzanine bed to make it feel more spacious, lovely communal area with kids toys, awesome views of the pistes from the room

The staff were were absolutely awesome, super accommodating and made me feel welcome every moment I was there. Food and drinks all very well priced and a perfect location out of the hustle and bustle of town, beautiful and picturesque view from the room which was very well sized. 12/10 would recommend

Exceeded expectations. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was insanely helpful and accommodating. Atmosphere was warm and friendly for all types of travelers. Darts and game area were a huge hit. Loved having a restaurant and bar and snacks and laundry on site. Super close to the Yumin day care and ski in ski out hard to beat.
Was a little clunky getting a rhythm with rentals and access to the resort the first day. Had to go to hotel to pick up vouchers for lift tickets because we reserved through staynozawa with discount. Major confusion over this delayed skiing by an hour and added some extra walking and frustration, but like all things in Japan, the second time around will be seamless.

Location is A*. Room has functional use of space. Appreciate the window bench sitting for early morning/apre ski looking at the slope. Shared bath facilities comfortable to use. Breakfast is fantastic. Dinner though is limited choice but the shuttle to the village provides options. The dining room and the bar has lovely views to chill and unwind. Staffs were responsive to help with any enquiries.

You can’t beat the ski in ski out location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Ski hire brand new. The family room with the loft was very modern and perfect for the 5 of us. Coffee was awesome, meals and breakfast were delicious too.
Having to make it to the chair or moving footway before they closed at 5pm for the nights out in town.

The Schneider Hotel is located at the bottom of one of the main runs at Nozawa Onsen. A great ski in / ski out hotel. While it is not close to the village main street, they have a very frequent shuttle service to get you to and from the hotel. Staff are helpful and friendly. In house bar and restaurant make the stay a dream.
