Quick walk to beach, nice view! All appliances worked well and unit was spacious for our group. Only negative was could not find a large pot for boiling water for pasta so bought one and left it there for other guests.

The condo was clean upon arrival. However, the masterbathroom tub was clogged up the first day. The water did not drain and the dirty water caused my feet irritated. Try to contact the 24 hour maintenance immediately, no answer so left a voice message to call back but no response during our entire stay. Luckily, the drainage fixed itself after 2 days. Also, we were instructed to pick up after ourselves but there was not enough trash bag. We were literally given 2 kitchen trash bags for entire stay.

This is our 3rd year staying at Ocean Vista. The location is great and really enjoyed the 3rd floor. The keypad lock was an unexpected perk. So simple. Plenty of items in the kitchen for whatever you needed. Overall good stay!

The selling point for this condo was the beach-facing bedroom and living room with a balcony spanning both. It was lovely to wake up and watch the sunrise, enjoy coffee on the balcony. The condo is well-appointed, has just about everything you need, though is a bit dated (like many properties in South Padre.) Bring your own beach chairs. The location is great; the beach there is wide and has nice rolling dunes. The one downside is the condo being so close to the hot tub, and late night noise from a family who assumed the hours of operation don't apply to them. Response from the property management was good. Check in and out couldn't be easier!

We really enjoyed staying here! The unit was clean and comfortable and the service was great. The view was amazing! It’s location made it easy to explore the area. We’d definitely return.

Very pleased with this condo! The location of the building and our particular unit was extremely convenient going to and from the beach, while getting an amazing view of the ocean. You can watch the sunrise from the balcony, or go for an early walk on the beach. The place was obviously old (pretty much anywhere you stay will be) but the owners did a good job renovating the place, making it feel more modern and clean. For example, we especially enjoyed the dining table, the master bed. The showers and kitchen sink were where you could tell it was older. Also, it was difficult to get the right temperature of water in the shower (could only get hot water) and the towels we were provided were pretty thin and seemed to be stained. One of the beds in the secondary bedroom (next to the window) was squeaky. But we definitely enjoyed our stay and recommend - the unit is actually better in person than shown in photos!

Very nice location and amenities. We especially like the umbrellas reserved for us at the beach.

The property management team were awesome when we arrived to pickup our keys! The condo was very clean and cool when we got there! Look forward to staying there again next summer!

Good location. Kids enjoy the access to the beach and pool. Grocery store a block away made for a nice quick walk for snacks/meals.

This was our family’s first trip to South Padre Island and this condo was the perfect home base for us (2 adults and 3 kids under 8). We appreciated that it was in a more family friendly part of the island yet so close to restaurants, grocery store, and entertainment like putt-putt, go karts, golf kart rental, etc. The condo has great ocean views from the living room and master bedroom (with amazing sunrises every morning), is an easy walk to the beach, and also has a heated kiddie pool, hot tub, playground, and a tennis court for some fun when we needed a break from the beach. The BBQ grill wasn’t working but we did cook meals in the kitchen and appreciated the giant dining table for family dinners. The kitchen provisions are limited though...it would’ve been nice to have basic staples such as salt and pepper (we left our shakers there so hopefully the next renters won’t have to worry about purchasing those), measuring cups/spoons, etc. The beds are comfy and there is netflix and cable tv hooked up on all the tvs. Overall we had a great stay here and are already trying to figure out when we’ll be able to return!

Beautiful views. Check in/out process was easy. Everyone had a great time. We will definitely be returning. Everything we needed to make our stay a home away from home was provided. The kitchen was well stocked. The condo was clean and property manager was helpful.

Great property! We even got to see dolphins from the balcony one morning! The chairs on the balcony are wonderful. The only thing wrong was the guest bathroom toilet was too low & not stable so it moved every time you used it. Also the shower doors came off track but maintenance was quick & efficient. The master bedroom toilet was secure but also appeared too low. If you have elderly parents these showers are difficult for them to get in & out of. Overall, this property was fantastic!

We stayed here over spring break with a few family members and our kids. The location was outstanding - I cannot say enough about the building, the amenities and overall area. It was not close to any of the "spring breakers" and found it to be quite, yet not too boring - there were other families staying there that we got to meet. We were absolutely thrilled with the overall experience. The condo itself has not been updated in quite sometime but it was clean.
