Great property for our family vacation

It was a nice getaway with the husband. Beautiful view.

We had the BEST time at Scott's cabin for my husband's birthday. We brought our two pups along for a little vacation, and I think they had just as much fun (if not more!) than we did! This is probably one of the most pet-friendly homes we have ever stayed in, and the little fenced in yard was perfect for our girls to do their business. I can honestly say that we thoroughly enjoyed ALL of the "hang out" areas at this property, both inside and out, and we won't hesitate to stay again in the future. Thank you so much for a fabulous stay Scott!!!

Super easy check in. The house was not the cleanest. We found an excessive amount of dog hair everywhere. Beds, floor, furniture etc. considering the price we expected more attention to that. It is advertised as a three bedroom. The third bedroom is a curtain around the projector area.

We wanted a view and boy did this house deliver. We enjoyed sitting on the porch swing and making s’mores in the fire pit. My kids loved the hot tub and pool table. Perfect house to relax and get away for the weekend.

This was the perfect relaxtion and getaway we needed.

Perfect cabin with gorgeous scenery to relax and unwind. Scott was very responsive to all of our questions. Cabin was very well stocked. Perfect location with access to launch a boat. Perfect cabin to relax with our family and fur babies. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay! We had a lot of fun playing pool, and poker. There are some maintenance concerns, but overall it was a great stay.

Let me start with the positives. This home is in an ideal location and the view was spectacular. The kitchen was well stocked, bed was comfortable and we had plenty of space to relax. The amenities were what sold us on this home. The hot tub was a hit and was very clean. Now the down side. The fireplace inside the home does not work. You can get it started but it turns off within 10 minutes every time. We contacted the host and property manager and never got a resolution to the problem. The pool table was great but new sticks are needed for maximum enjoyment. The movie room is a treat once you figure out how to get the projector working. The property manager was no help here. We found a spare HDMI cable in the drawer and as a last ditch effort ran it instead of the wired cable and it worked. Overall this home was great, it just needs a little bit of love and it would be 5 stars.

Getting to this location in the middle of the night, is a bit tricky, but the views are spectacular. The cabin is a two bedroom and needs so TLC, but we enjoyed our time there. We were disappointed to leave early due to incoming snow storm. If you have a 4 wheel drive auto, you should bring it up to this location. Overall nice stay.

Views from the cabin are awesome and the road to get there is fully paved, which is a big plus in those winding mountain roads. The cabin was big, clean, and with a lot of amenities. The hot tub and the pool table take all the credit though. It was raining pretty much all the time we were there but we were able to sit around the fire pit a couple nights and it was really nice. The kitchen has many utilities and all the appliances work fine. It was a very good trip overall and the cabin was very nice.

Our family of 6 enjoyed our stay. There were many things for the kids to do, with the pool table, movie room, hot tub, etc. It had all the amenities we needed, even a Christmas tree! We would definitely go return!

Views from the cabin are awesome and the road to get there is fully paved, which is a big plus in those winding mountain roads. The cabin was big, clean, and with a lot of amenities. The hot tub and the pool table take all the credit though. It was raining pretty much all the time we were there but we were able to sit around the fire pit a couple nights and it was really nice. The kitchen has many utilities and all the appliances work fine. It was a very good trip overall and the cabin was very nice.

This home was in an amazing location high up in the mountains overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains and Blue Ridge Lake. We wanted a home with all the amenities that this home had to provide and wanted to enjoy a week relaxing. The home was clean and it was accurately described in the listing. The property manager was always available by text and replied in a timely manner. I shared with her that the home was great but definitely needed a little TLC. We were here over Thanksgiving, we wanted to stay at the home and cook, relax, and just unwind. There were several light bulbs out, a few chairs were starting to break, the HDMI cable was broke, the TV in the downstairs room would not work, the toilet downstairs was broken, and the ping pong table needed some hardware fixed to sit properly on the pool table. We contacted the property manager and offered to fix the HDMI cable which they agreed to. We fixed the ping pong table ourselves going to Home Depot for the piece. The fireplace inside which is gas must have a short because it goes out on its own and we could not resolve this issue. We do not mind changing a light bulb or fixing things but there were no extra light bulbs or any tools. I did also mention there were no scissors, pens, or any extra containers like plastic ware for leftovers. There was a crockpot, toaster, electric skillet, blender, and coffeemaker. I would definitely recommend providing a few extra dishes, tubberware, utensils, and baking dishes. Also, if you rent a home for a week 4 rolls of toilet paper is not enough with one roll of paper towels for a family of 5. I truly believe if you take care of the customer the customer will take care of you. We have rented several homes and treat the home as if it is ours. I understand that things break and need to be fixed. Unfortunately, when you get somewhere and the owner is not close by you just have to manage the issues. I loved this home for the location, the movie room, ping pong, pool and outdoor fire table.

German Roaches throughout the house. Flood lights didn't work. Pot and pan all peeling with teflon, couldn't use. Water went out for 6 hours. Gas grill only had one burner working impossible to cook in 40 degree weather. Stove and burners did not heat up properly. very slow to cook anything. etc. etc.

Hiking started right out the front door! We brought some food, bought some at a nearby store and ate at a local restaurant (yum!) Coffee machine, WiFi, fridge, TVs, grill, billiard table and swings were available. There was even a water bowl for our dog. We wanted to stay longer, but they were booked. I would return again.
