This was my second stay with Novotel Taiping. Unfortunately this time we were given a room with a shower that wouldn't drain. Made a quick call to front desk to request for a room and they were very quick to send a maintenance team to confirm the issue and give us a new room.
Parking is not easily accesible.

Breakfast buffet was very good.
Room as well as the hotel in general was much better than I expect for the price.
The swimming pool tiles could have been cleaner.

first we arrived until check out.. staff very friendly and appraochable, nice view, comfortable.
The chiller and freezer bit dust and no clean, the safety box not working.

Few minutes walking to many places.
It is attached to a mall so very convenient.
Restaurant menu options could be better.

Great position. Close to the park. Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast excellent. There is an entry into the mall from the hotel. Great view from the room. Pool was a good size . would definitely stay again. very modern.
Reception area very very cool . Could't really sit around there too long. But that is my personal preference.

Room was clean, top furnishings, good view and centrally located in the town. Walking distance to the famous Taiping Gardens, the Museum, The Zoo, Best of all, the Food Halls and shops were just "across the road" . Fantastic place to sample local foods and to do some shopping. Novotel has its own Shopping Mall which is so convenient for us. The staff at the reception and concierge were very friendly and helpful. Congratulations to the team. We also stayed at the Novotel, Singapore. Similar top service. Congratulations. Merci beaucoup .

The shower gel smells good. The water pressure is also good. I have a nice view from my room.
1. Buffet breakfast - must have butter (small pack branded butter), not a tub of margarine (big bulk). 4-star hotel standard.
2. Bottle water in the room should be sealed and mention where the drinking water comes from.
