Le peu d'amabilite du patron très désagréable.Ne prenez pas les bungalows : très mal entretenus et accès par un espace limite dechetterie absolument inadmissible ! La lampe près du lit était couverte de poussière ainsi que les rideaux dont la barre s'est décrochée des qu'on les a tirés . Un couple français rencontré par hasard à payé moitié prix a la guest house Lattanavang pour des bungalows luxueux dans un espace vert magnifique juste à côté

Riverside location… rooms with wonderful views of the river… great place to watch the world go by! Comfortable, clean and friendly.

I was happy with everything.

Location. Over looking the river. My bungalow was not over looking the river which I booked and was confirmed my email but my garden view was more than adequate. The restaurant and bar were overlooking the river so no big deal. No I was not overcharged. Getting there from Nong Khiaw by boat was not very comfortable as they pack you in basically in a squat knee to knee. I did not repeat that on return trip as my old legs and knees really didn’t like it. The owners arranged alternative transport for me. the staff was family. Mother, father, daughter and son in law. Lovely people. bungalow was comfortable as was the bed. Room fan was more than enough to cool off with. But did not spend much time really inside.. Muang Njoi was pretty great. More than enough places to eat. And fortunate for those of us there a village celebration going on with singing and music with local instruments.

When we arrived there was lots of confusion over bookings. several people who had bookings confirmed were told there was no rooms for them. We ended up having to move after one night to a different bungalow which wasn’t the end of the world but was a bit of an inconvenience.

Loved, loved the view. The location was great.

We did not have a hot water kettle in our room to make morning coffee. The shower head holder in our room was broken so we did not have an overhead shower. Breakfast was not included Because of these issues we checked into another hotel.

The bar next to the river is great. The staff was helpful and nice. The bungalow was nice and cozy. The comfort on the bed was great

The garden next to the path to the bungalows will be nicer it's organized. The free breakfast is only banana pancake with coffee or tea, nice but would be good to have a couple of other options

Very good location next to the river, restaurant has the best views in the village. Garden where the bungalows are has jungle vibes.

Note that the bungalows have no view and are very basic. The river view rooms are very nice though. Staff could be more helpful and organized. Overpriced compared to other options in the village. Basic breakfast.

The location on the river was excellent. The staff were friendly and the rooms were comfortable and clean too. The breakfast was better than most we had in Laos.

When we arrived from the boat, they let everyone check-in before us and then said that they didn't have any garden bungalows left as they'd overbooked and so we would need to have one of the river view rooms for two nights and then a bungalow for one. The catch was that the river view rooms were $28 per night and the bungalows were $15 on Booking.com... The same thing has since happened to one of our friends who also stayed there, they had overbooked. So, whilst we enjoyed our stay there, if you plan to book with Booking.com be aware that you may or have to pay more or they may not have a room for you!

Given you are up river in northern Laos in a very small village the restaurant and bar standard was excellent Wonderful location overlooking the river and a garden as well.

The views and so beautiful and calming. The bungalows are beautiful and was better in person than in the pictures. Spotless clean and would absolutely come back again!

Great place and location. Has everything you need, especially for being a remote village. Owners are so nice!

Best views in Muong Ngoi from the balcony. It is river view and mountain view, when you don't take the garden bungalows. Right by the river with its very relaxed atmosphere. You can rent a kayak and paddle along the river at your own pace. Staff is helpful and friendly but not professional yet. Restaurant is good and not expensive.

Could be a little cleaner in the bathroom and the corners.....

+ Gorgeous location, perhaps the best view in Muang Ngoi village + Tidy, clean rooms with access to a balcony with an equally amazing view (double rooms, not bungalows) + Very friendly, english-speaking and knowledgeable owners + Accepts credit cards! In a village with no ATM, this comes seriously handy if you spend more time than you planned here 🙂 Certainly one of my favorite places I’ve stayed in Laos.

Nothing. It is not the cheapest place to stay in Muang Ngoi, but it is still exceptional value in my opinion given its location and facilities, particularly the double rooms. I can’t speak for the bungalows.

- breakfast not copious - pictures evoke the impression that the bungalows are those above the restaurant, but in reality the Garden Bungalows are situated in the back with no River view - advertised "River view" of the Garden Bungalows is outright wrong

Authentic bungalow in a jungle garden just behind the main riverfront building, very comfortable bed, lovely owner and his family. Dining on the riverside is great.

The bungalows are as unsoundproof as you can get, which is fine when all guests are respectful of this and the only sounds are the jungle. Unfortunately we had a loud group drinking late into the night and shouting at the top of their voices (another guest actually shouted from their room for them to shut up, which they ignored) and rather than the owner doing something to handle the situation he actually joined in drinking with them, and then acted as if nothing had happened the next day despite having a full hotel of presumably pretty unhappy guests; possibly due to cultural differences on what’s considered anti-social level of noise. Also, double check your bill as after checking out we realised the exchange rate we’d been given by the wife meant the room cost quite a bit more than as listed on booking.com (our fault for not being more alert to this).
