Nous n’avons pas essayé la piscine mais elle est beaucoup plus petite que sur la photo. Personne ne nous a reçu.

The houses are in a nice and quiet place, next to the mountains. It is a bit hidden, when you come with the car, especially later in the evening. The entire property was very clean and very nicely set up with the pool, the houses/ flowers and sunbeds.

We arrived later in the evening and couldn't find our house directly since it was very dark in the area

Lovely apartment “ cottages” restored by Mary on her Grandfather’s land. Simple, clean and comfortable with good sized kitchen. Lovely setting in peaceful Location and a short drive to Elefonisi. Children really enjoyed the little pool. Mary is a delightful host.

There is no facility for food and drinks so do bring your own. Mary brought us breakfast on request but this was but the norm.

Fantastic traditional style house done to a modern spec. Facilities very good and finish of property to a high standard. Size of property was impressive for our family of 3, split over two levels. Surrounding gardens beautifully maintained and pool, Sun loungers and hammocks great for enjoying this retreat up in the hills of SW of Crete. A fantastic base for exploring the beaches and mountain villages of this part of the island and close enough to easily visit the likes of Ellafonisi beach. A special mention for the host Mary though she was so friendly and accommodating with plenty of good info for the surrounding area, made us feel super welcome and always available if need be on site or via phone.

Nothing, we’d come back and also recommend to friends who do similar style driving holidays

First of all, Mary is amazing host and person. She is the cherry on top of the cake. Super helpful and nice. You can write her with any query. Second, the place is big, spacious and well located. It`s only 20-25 min from Elafonissi beach by car. Good, solid furniture. Bed is comfortable. And there are some books. AC works really well. Big shower. And Netflix was a pleasant surprise.

We loved everything. No complains at all.

Definitely the most beautiful accommodation on Crete we stayed at. We had the Apartment for 4 persons as a couple and stayed for seven nights. It was a very quite, clean and comfortable flat with a kitchen, two beds (one of them in a separate room, the other in the living room/kitchen), one dining room and two bathrooms. The beds were very hard. You have to like that. But we did. In the kitchen there was free coffee and even a milk frother. As a welcome gift we got honey and raki. We had our breakfast every day on the terrace with the view on the beautiful mountains and the sound of the nature. The the whole area was very well maintained, the pool was clean and had a beautiful view. Mary was very heartfelt, she was always available, recommended good beaches and restaurants to go to. Especially she gave local tips and told us when it is a good time to go where - so that we could also visit touristic places without the crowd. You can also start some hiking trips from there. Definitely a place to come back to! And its worth it to stay more than one night to enjoy the nature and the accomodation. Special thanks to Mary!
