the location is not very good if you are a tourist, its not exactly in Barcelona but in a near “city”, very loud at night and during the day.

The apartment is very close to the Barcelona Nu Camp stadium, probably best for those who want to attend a football match. The interior of the house is modern decorated (but with low class furniture from IKEA) The bathroom is new, tiles, toilet seat and sink are modern and comfortable. Hot water was always sufficient for showers and washing WIFI was around 15Mbps download and upload), sufficient for basic work with emails etc The host, Jose is s a very joyful person, helped with our luggage upon our arrival and provided information when we asked. We had gifted one bottle of water, orange juice and milk in the refrigerator upon our arrival

The location of the apartment is not in the center of Barcelona, something we already knew. But the neighborhood is a low class one with lots of noise, screams during the night, cars throttling and people wandering around. We thankfully didn't faced any difficult situation as most of the times especially during the night hours we were using taxis instead of metro or bus. The entrance area of the apartment which is on the 2nd floor is dirty and has a continuous bad odor during the five days stay. The door and door lock is insufficient to prevent any theft attack so we never left anything valuable inside the room. We were carrying everything with us all five days. The overall apartment construction although recent, is very low, below basic levels. The two bedrooms have no sound insulation between the walls, so all conversations are clearly heard even with the doors shut. The room balcony doors and windows don't have any kind of curtains so when we wanted to have some privacy from the opposite building residents we had to close the shutters completely The mattresses are low class foam without springs. Comfy for a quick nap but very stressful to the body for a long night sleep. The cleanliness all over the apartment (bedrooms, toilet, walls, doors and furniture) upon our arrival was barely sufficient and not professionally cared. Just the basics. The walls and doors are dirty and poorly cleaned,. Doors have breaks as well. We were given one set of towels and sheets for our 5 days of stay. Never changed. The apartment was never cleaned during our stay. The water pressure of the shower is low and as of that it extended our bath time to rinse well. There was just a Nespresso machine but not a simple filter coffee machine. There was nothing to have our washed cups and glasses drying after washing.... we had to leave them in a laundry basket to dry out....lol....

It is located near major Metro hub with acces to all locations in Barcelona. Many markets nearby.

Nothing unpleasant

Jose was really friendly, easy to be contacted and willing to help. He explained everything in detail about Barcelona (the metro, tourist attractions, food, etc) and it was really useful since it was our first time to visit Barcelona. On our first day, he even came down to help us bring our luggages and the last day he helped us to call a taxi to the airport. The apartment was really nice, it was really neat and clean when we arrived. It’s a little far from the downtown, but it’s only 10 minutes away from camp nou and ca. 10-15minutes away from the metro

Perfect stay, friendly staff with good contact per email beforehand, nicely decorated apartment with all necessities at hand.

Floor didn't seem to be cleaned before arriving, but that's more or less the only negative point.
