From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home in this Victorian gem near the river! From the exquisite attention to detail with an assortment of colors, patterns and textures, to all the amenities needed to make this the perfect stay, we simply could not have asked for more. To top it off, Sabrina was prompt, kind and accommodating in her responsiveness to our personal needs!

We had a fabulous time. The house was perfect for us. We loved watching the deer from the front porch while having our coffee. We will be back.

We had a great stay at this adorable cottage. The owner was so accommodating and communication, check in/out, and the entire process was as smooth as could be. Perfect location for our Schlitterbahn weekend just a few blocks away. Highly recommend!

Came to Gruene for a girl's weekend and the house was perfect! Plenty of room and the beds were very comfortable! We weren't within walking distance of activities, but Uber is inexpensive and very quick! Will definitely stay here again when back in the area.

The property owner was exceptionally helpful and communicative! Perfect location to use Uber! We didn't have any issues getting in and out of the house, the beds were overall comfy, it's a quiet neighborhood with many " deer friends" to watch. We used the washer/ dryer and coffee maker which were both helpful to have, and found the home overall interesting with its antique charms!

We had a great time in this New Braunfels home. The owner was great. Quick to respond, she even loaned us a few items that were above and beyond what is expected in a rental. Thank you for the coolers. The home is an older home as advertised. Early 1900s but it was very comfortable. Nice big bathroom off the kitchen. Late July heat, and the AC worked great. It didn't make much of difference to us but for future visitors, please be aware that there is a home behind the house on the same property that someone lives in. This makes utilizing the back yard a little awkward. The back yard is their front yard.
As for this home it is close to everything. The Comal river, restaurants, and a few convenience stores are near by. Gruene, TX is a short drive as well and a great place to visit.

Had a great, fun and laid back trip to float the River with family and friends. The house is quaint and cozy. If you forgot something, it is stocked for convenience and ease of mind. These owners think of everything! Highly recommend and will definitely rebook again in the future!

This was our second year staying here. It’s a great set up for our friend group and allowed us the opportunity to sit and hangout without the noise of a condo or loud neighbors. The proximity to the Comal is great as well. Sabrina is wonderful and quick to respond to messages. Looking forward to year three next year!

We were a group of four adults and three teenage girls. Sabrina was so accommodating. The house is cute, clean, and well stocked. The location is perfect for quick access to restaurants, shops, and a river float. We enjoyed drinking our morning coffee on the front porch.

The house was charming but the twin beds are SMALL not suited for an adult but a child would be fine. The soap dispensers appeared to just be filled with water. Or watered down soap? House was near everything we needed but probably wouldn’t stay again. Just wasn’t for us.

This house was amazing!!! Loved how this house has a vintage/antique vibe. We arrived a little late and the lamps were in and low music. Very inviting. Enough space for everyone. Very spacious.

Loved the house. Was a great location, 5 minutes to any place we went. AC works great and for an old house, stayed cool. Sabrina was very helpful. Need to update your WiFi information on the email PDF, but everything else was great. Neighbors were a little loud playing music but could not hear it from inside. House was adorable! Beds were comfy.

Perfect place for families, Great Location
This is the second time our family has stayed at Austin Haus. We found it to again be the perfect place for our family of 6. Love our time on the porch and the home is cozy and quaint. Close proximity to all NB and Gruene attractions. Sabrina is easy to work with and always helpful.
Our kids especially enjoyed watching for deer!

Cozy Warm Comfort
We loved our stay! The beds were comfy, the air conditioning kept it nice and cool despite the august heat, the large TV was great for hanging out, the coffee was delicious, and the house was clean and well equipped! We loved seeing the deer come right up on the property. It was a quick stay but we would definitely come back if we vacation to the area in the future!

Sweet little house close to it all
We loved the charm and character of the house. Sabrina was wonderful in her communication and responded quickly when we reached out.
We had 3 couples stay here and we were all comfortable. Beds were good. Kitchen fully stocked with anything we needed for meals.
