Favorite thing about our stay was the location in proximity to the ocean and trails. We were lucky enough to see 2 gray whales and walk to the beach every evening. We would come back again for sure.

The house was perfect for doing just that. the open layout on the second floor living space, with all the windows allowed the natural light,and ocean breeze to wash over the space. The view of the ocean was wonderful. The location was perfect, when I needed breaks, I could walk around the quiet neighborhood or walk along the bluff and alwyas returned to my writing inspired.

The property, fixtures and appliances are dated, but clean and functional. The blinds need some attention. I cooked every day I was there and had everything I needed to do so. You definitely need to bring your own spices, oil etc. but everything else to cook with was available.
One suggestion would be to have streaming apps on yhe main tv as well as the one in the smaller bedroom. But I didn't watch tv so it wasn't a problem. Also, the natural environment around the home was beautiful. Even saw deer several times!
The fireplace in the bedroom is a nice touch.
The management company was very helpful and responsive throughout the process.
I would definitely return.

We usually come with family but due to the COVID-19 outbreak, it was just my husband and I. We love this house. The proximity to the ocean and walking trails is perfect. It was a little lonely this year without our granddaughter as she loves to walk with us on the trails. We look forward to next year with her and the long walks and the beautiful sunsets we can see from our balcony.

Kitchen was well stocked with cookware and the dining room table expanded to fit 8 and 10 people for the holiday feasts. Perfectly located close to the beach and Fiscalani Ranch Reserve, which allowed for daily walking and/or running on trails and tidepooling.

We celebrated a lovely holiday family reunion at the Blue Castile. The house was spacious and well appointed for use by three couples. We were able to cook several large meals and entertain easily in the open kitchen and dining room space. The proximity to the beach and local park allowed for easy access to strolling and running on the trails. We had a wonderful stay!

It was a wonderful location, easy to access wonderful walks, or go to restaurants or wineries. It was just a short ride up to San Simeon to Hearst Castle and the Elephant Seals. One comment is that is that it would be nice to have a 5th/6th chair for the dining room table. We all thought it was wonderful. Rental agents were great.

Lovely home in a quiet neighborhood.... close to Fiscalini Ranch Preserve where we strolled the boardwalk path after dinner almost every night. Couldn't ask for more..... we will definitely be back.
