Location. Understanding staff

Food at the downstairs restaurant was very average

I have known the Subur Hotel for almost 20 years and it is always a good option in Sitges due to its location, right in town and in front of the beach. The facilities are simply but functional and the hotel is quite clean. Only the prices seem to me quite high for a 3 stars hotel, between 140-160 euros per night in a single room and without breakfast. I think at least they could offer a small breakfast, or a coffee or something.

Location was good. Central to the rest of the town.

For $200+ per night, first floor internal room with no sun light, 70s bathroom (basic) and little things like side lamps not working. Basically felt like a closet. There is a small roof terrace but no bar or anything up there.

Excellent location right on the beach, close to all the main areas.

The bed was very noisy and insect in the bathroom around the floor and sink

Great location, staff and breakfast. Looking out over the beach our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and had a wide range to choose from. The staff were kind and helpful.

I wasn't expecting perfection having read the reviews so I'm not going to be too negative as it is an older property and that must be taken into account . I had hoped to get a balcony room but I got an inside room that had the aircon units below, I am a light sleeper but slept well as the hum noise wasn't that bad, also, a room with a view may have suffered from street noise and the aircon was good despite the 30c heat , the room was very basic and cell like with very little furniture, which was quite old. The breakfasts were very good and all the staff were lovely and helpful, reception was similar. Free WIFI was good too.

I don't have any really negative comments , Sitges is such a lovely clean and safe resort that I felt very happy overall.
