Comfy, well heated accomodation with no fuss. I really like this place. You check out by putting your key in a box. Simple. Proper old fashioned keys which just work. No fuss, you just get everything you need. They also very kindly reorganised my booking when I couldn't go due to strikes.
The room was quite small but I actually liked this.

Good location for town centre
Found stale food and empty food packets under the bed! Obviously hadn't been cleaned thoroughly.

Everything, from the horrible host who suggested we go and sleep on the street because we checked in late and woke him up from his beauty sleep, to the atrocious facilities which were offered. Wouldn't even recommend it to my worst enemies

Very clean, had everything we needed and a short walk to our party at the Clarendon Hotel.

It had a clean bed,decent shower and TV ,and very close to the town which was great,it was a clean basic room .The proprietor of the guest house was very polite.
The main criticism was somewhere to hang my clothes and a small bin for the room,The cupboard bathroom door didn't shut properly either.

I stayed in Shamrock Guest House a few times during my work-related trips. It has an excellent location, just 5 minutes walk from the town centre. It’s not luxuriously decorated, but it's very well equipped (fridge, microwave, etc) and super clean! The owner is so friendly and always tries to get me the best available room. I can highly recommend it.

Clearly had guests smoking in the building, which set off the fire alarm in the middle of the night. Smoke smell in the building was very strong and also came in through the ensuite too.
Bed was also very bouncy so difficult to sleep in

Nothing to dislike
Great price, smashing room, bed, pillows and quilt made me want to have a lie in. Owner pointed me in a pretty secure place to put my bike, would definitely stay here again. Thank you for letting me stay with you

Nothing.i should be reemburst with my money.i am not saying all the hotel is bad .just the room I had and the managments attitude towards me
When it rained water flooded the bathroom they never cleaned the room.they did not restock the tea coffee etc.when I asked for a reduction in the room rate they said no.they did not even give me a clean towel .the one I had I had too use all week and started too smell fusty. I was disgusted with the 40 pound a night and with water coming through roof it could get into the electrics and harm someone
