Great forest location. Lots of dog walking opportunities straight from the front door

Location. Loneliness.

No charging for Electric car. Coffee was Not from „Siebträger“.

We stayed there for one night with our dog. There are no neighbour around, and just hotel guests so you can comfortably go around and rest in silence. The room was cozy, modern, simple and had just enough for our stay. The restaurant in the hotel serves lovely local dishes, run by the lovely owners, and the breakfast was typical full German style, plenty of cured meat, cheese, cooked egg, fruit , etc. We were satisfied to lunch and later. On a side note- there are two gravel paths to approach the hotel - one from north and one from south. While Google somehow thought its easier and faster to approach from the south - do not listen to this, and make no mistake, its definitely feasible from the northern path. (we tried the southern path first (following google!) with normal 5 doors car, and it was definitely not recommended..)

First, the Wifi did not work - at least not with the given ID/passwords in our room (It was late in the evening, so we also did not want to bother the hotel owners). Second, our next door neighbour was a family of 5 and the kids crying and shouting were unfortunately all very audible (i.e. it was not very sound proofed). Perhaps minor point, and not what to expect in this particular place, but we were somehow thinking the hotel is in nice hiking route/forest which wasnt quite the case. The immediate surrounding was more like a (non-descriptive) forest for tree-farm and nothing much to see, and to get to nearest scenic hiking routes you had to hike for some km or so.

The staff was fantastic. Hotel is freshly renovated. Rooms are lovely decorated. Food in the restaurant was excellent. Location is idilic in the forest.

Rooms are not good isolated to the neighbours. You can hear everything from your neighbours. The road to the hotel is tedious.
