This house was perfect for our needs. The location is great for hiking high peaks and then having the hot tub to come back to was a huge plus! The house was very clean and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again!

To get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, we booked this cottage in the beautiful Adirondacks and everything was relaxed and uncomplicated from the start. The hosts sent all the information in good time and, after a long drive, we immediately felt welcome in the warm little house, which was perfectly prepared for our stay. The bathrooms and kitchen are comfortable, super clean and modern and it really has everything you need. The hot tub was heated when we arrived and we were able to relax straight away. The area is beautiful and there is so much to do. The people are incredibly friendly. We would love to come back!

The house is wonderful. Location is great. Close to Whiteface (ski). House very clean and well-kept. Our daughter loved relaxing in the hotub after a long day of skiing. we even managed to make a small bonfire and roast marshmallows for the kids. Cassandra explained everything about the house very clearly. Thank you very much for this. We will definitely visit this place again when it gets a little warmer.

This house is a favorite of ours - fireplace, hot tub, well stocked kitchen, close to Whiteface, and EXCELLENT HOSTS! We enjoyed a snowy holiday weekend on the slopes and cozied in the house after. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Graystone. Clean and well taken care of house. Our second visit here because we knew we wouldnt be disappointed. Graystone is in walking distance to Wilmington. We had the pleasure of a snowstorm happening while we were there. We enjoyed the hot tub while it was snowing. Magical!!! Had a relaxing time doing puzzles, games and being with family. Highly recommend Graystone.

The property was as pictured except it is close to other houses which was not a problem. Very clean. Beds very comfortable. Good location for what we were doing while visiting Lake Placid. We would stay here again. My only suggestion would be a motion light out by the driveway. It’s quite dark when coming back to the property late. We did leave the side porch light on one night we were late coming back and that worked fine. We only needed to speak with owners once and they were helpful. Great property.

Everything was great - clean, comfortable, perfect location, and prompt communication with owners. The master bed was comfortable (the only one we used), the kitchen was well stocked, and the hot tub was a nice perk. The house is located on a road that has a wide bike lane and sidewalks that we enjoyed taking our pups on for morning walks. The traffic was not very busy during our time there. It is also located near very many trails and activities. I would highly recommend this property and would stay here again!

The living room could use a bigger seating arrangement, but the house was charming, the hot tub was super clean and the location couldn’t have been better.

The house was very clean and felt welcoming the second we walked in. There was plenty of room for everyone, and we had everything we needed. The owners were very responsive and kind. I loved that my dog was able to join us too!
The only thing I did dislike was the fact that previous people who stayed made a mess in the yard with wrappers, cigarettes and tons of dog poo!!! The snow was melting while we stayed and everyday more appeared while I was out cleaning up after my dog!! We didn’t even get charged extra at this house to bring our dog, which is unheard of!!! I wish people could be responsible so they don’t ruin it for everyone.

Stayed at the Graystone cottage and came down from Canada to ski/snowboard with the family. Amazing cottage and literally 5 mins drive to Whiteface mountain. Property owners were great in communicating promptly and check in was easy. We will be back!

Graystone cottage was an excellent VRBO for us and our two dogs. We stayed for two weeks and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the fireplace and hot tub on the cold days. The owners were very responsive to our inquiries and fixed a minor maintenance issue immediately. If your main focus is Whiteface it is a great location. It is a short drive to Lake Placid and the other Olympic venues. We highly recommend it.

Enjoyed our stay. Close to WhiteFace Ski Resort. We had five in our group and had our two kids upstairs with the adults on the ground floor. Good fit fir smaller groups. Once you start adding ski equipment for four people plus a snow board, there is not much extra room in the living room area if you plan on bringing your equipment in each night. Overall great experience and I would certainly recommend.

This is a perfect vacation home! It’s clean and comfortable with all sorts of amenities. The skier in our group really appreciated the hot tub and we all liked the well-appointed kitchen and cozy bedrooms. Property is in a great location close to central Wilmington and the White Face ski area. Reservation and check-in process were seamless. I highly recommend this property!!

My wife and I spent a very nice romantic few days at the home. Although it snowed for 3 days we did find time to hike and visit Lake Placid. The home was very cozy. The kitchen was equiped eveything we needed. The hot tub was awesome. The home was very clean. The home is described exactly what is on VRBO. I would love to come back again.

Graystone Cottage was a wonderful place for our vacation. We loved the layout of the house, the amount of yard space, the fire pit and my husband and daughter were very thankful for the hot tub after their lacrosse games. Our fur baby loved the yard for exploring. Graystone Cottage delivered on everything. Jerry and Cassandra were so very nice. We had an awful night stay in Buffalo and arrived 2 hours earlier than we anticipated. They were so accommodating - we relaxed around the fit pit while they did last minute checks and tested the hot tub. Then gave us a few areas to explore around Wilmington. We had the best stay and will definitely look to book again!

Best rental!
We have rented vacation homes in the area for years and Graystone Cottage has out shown the others. The kitchen appliances, the decor, the hot tub, and the robes. The enclosed side porch was perfect for hiking boots and gear. The owners have been very thoughtful in furnishing this rental. Great vacation!

This is our second stay with Cassandra and Jeremy and we simply LOVE this home. Super clean, fully stocked kitchen, awesome showers, plenty of space but simultaneously cozy. We adore the deck and hot tub here. Quiet, conveniently located, SUPER responsive owners, just perfect in every way! We and our fur baby love this place!!

Perfect respite after exploring the ADK High Peaks.
Comfortable, quiet, clean and convenient location. A stone’s throw from some of the most prime flyfishing spots in the USA. The hot tub is perfect after a day of rigorous mountain hiking. Oh, and the king sized bed is a game changer. Aaaaah! Close to food market, pizzeria and the Country Bear for a great breakfast when you’re too exhausted to cook. Cassandra & Jeremy go out of their way to make your stay in the Daks second to none. Will be coming back in the Fall, Winter and next Summer again and again.

Spotless
This property was spotless. The host was very responsive – we had forgotten an item to assist with remote schooling and the host provided it to us practically immediately. The beds were super comfortable. The hot tub was fantastic. Lots of very nice touches provided by the host. Abundance of towels, robes for the hot tub, gourmet coffee and hot chocolate for the children. Firewood for the outdoor fire pit....and I could go on. An enjoyable stay.

Great house and hosts
Wow! A fantastic house. Everything is new and extremely clean. Cassandra and Jeremy have thought of everything. The kitchen is very well equipped. The best I’ve seen in a rental. All new appliances. The hosts have provided all the little amenities that take a home from good to great from quality toiletries to an abundance of towels. The hot tub works great and is on the deck steps from the patio door. The gas fireplace is wonderful. The internet works great as does the smart TV. Cassandra and Jeremy are great hosts. They were extremely flexible and generous in, due to covid, carrying over my reservation from 2020 to 2021. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to the area. I recommend it to all.

Weekend Get Away
We arrived late Friday night and easily accessed the house key based on instructions from the owners. The house was very clean and stocked with lots of clean towels. The bedding was very comfortable and decor was very tasteful! The kitchen was stocked with dishes and items like coffee and creamer, salt and pepper, as well as dish towels, soap and dishwasher tablets. We enjoyed the hot tub as well as the electric start gas fireplace.

Great, cozy house
This recently remodeled house was a great home base for our winter activities. We enjoyed the outdoor hot tub. It’s about 20 minutes to Lake Placid and it’s restaurants, stores and activities (not much of that in Wilmington). The house had all the necessary amenities for an extended stay. Our family of 4 had sufficient room.

We had a great time staying at Graystone Cottage! Cassandra & Jeremy thought of everything to make our stay feel like home. Very cozy and comfortable, very clean, and close to Whiteface Mountain. We can’t wait to stay there again!

Family getaway
Me and my family enjoyed our stay. The house was great, close to all the popular spots and attractions. The house had all the little things you need like plenty of towels and stocked kitchen. The jacuzzi was great and well as the firepit and the charcoal grill. Overall a great stay.
