rugs were slippery on the floors not very good for older people. Had to stand up to have breakfast because stools were too high would be better to get rid of the breakfast bar and put in a small round table.

Lovely self contained place with all the thoughtful little touches from the owner. Perfect for what we needed. Shower was fantastic. Plenty of on street parking so don't let the no parking put you off. Look forward to returning.

The Bungalow was very welcoming and warm on arrival as the weather was somewhat chilly at the time 19 December. Every facility you could want during your stay was provided. The only thing not available was a washing machine but there was equipment provided to dry your own hand washing. For a more comfortable stay, there were robes also provided, Internet and a few welcoming starter items in the fridge.

Not really a big issue, but for me I am used to slightly more firmer pillows. They were nice for those who love soft pillows.

This is an exceptional place . So many extra touches - warm - homely - cosy - Perfect!

Safe Haven is an absolute gem. It's clean, it's comfortable and everything is in perfect working order. Mince pies on arrival and milk and butter in the fridge. Val is so nice, even though I didn't actually meet her. She even offered to bring me over food for breakfast as it was lashing rain, so considerate. TV has loads of channels and second tv in the bedroom has Netflix. I totally recommend Safe Haven.

The accommodation was great, decor and atmosphere was lovely. The location was literally 5 minutes walk from the coast (even if that was the top of the cliffs) and the busses stopped almost right outside. Being on a cul-de-sac there was very little traffic noise and we were able to park outside.

We tend to cook from scratch when we are away and the hob and saucepans did not make this easy as the pans were on the small side and the hob was not easy to control. Oven or microwave food would have been fine.

No breakfast at property as we were on accomadation only self catering. As for transport..buses to Brighton and Eastbourne at a bus stop 100yds away. We can recommend this property. Would come again.

We found the key safe to be very difficult to undo the lock.

very nice comfortable little bungalow

The noise from whoever was in the other part of the bungalow, you could hear the conversation through the adjoining door that I think should have been more soundproof and unacceptable that who was in there was on the phone to someone until 1.40am so I didn’t get much sleep on the second night. Also not much to do we were only able to get into one place to eat.

Very clean and homely. It had everything you could need and much more. Lovely lady also.

This is a lovely self contained accommodation, with all facilities required and little extras like milk, orange juice even crumpets, plus tea , jam and butter! Just a few steps to a bus stop on the main coast road so Eastbourne and Brighton are really easy to get to with very cheap tickets (only £5.50 for 24 hours use) and very late buses back if required! Also parking straight outside the property!

Only one small issue were the towels , they weren’t very thick or soft , but really a small thing in an otherwise perfect little home from home!

Lovely little home, great location, easy parking. We were welcomed to a great kitchen stocked with Tea, coffee, juice, fresh milk , soy milk, cereals, biscuits, crumpets, yogurt etc. such a nice suprise after a long flight from America. The bathroom were stocked with toiletries and fluffy towels. Bedding comfortable with nice duvets.

No complaints, everything exceeded or expectations

everything had been thought of. A lovey welcome hamper and everything we needed for a couple of nights stay. really comfy beds, loved the bathrobe… great shower.. exceptionally clean. had a lovely wind down after spending hectic days with grandchildren. 😊

This venue is a conveniently situated and well converted residential bungalow with two en suite double rooms. Each room is thoughtfully designed round a theme, and perfectly appointed with everything imaginable except a trouser-press (joke). There is a guests self-service breakfast room with a wide range of continental options and a decent coffee machine. The proprietor has her own private suite and does not intrude. But she keeps an exceptionally clean house in which everything works and is maintained like new. Safe Haven comes very highly recommended indeed.
