Lovely home! Everything you need at your fingertips. Pool and hot tub was great! Pergola area was awesome for our family. 5-8 minute Walk to golf/arcade/restaurant. Beach walk is easy but think more 10-12 minute walk so you need a drop off with your beach gear. Parking is available at the beach. Nice beach, easy access. Bikes available in shed and a nice 6 mile ride to Caligney shopping. Great stay!

We were on a family vacation, and we were overly pleased with the home. It was clean, fully stocked, and Mrs. Tonya was readily available throughout our stay. It is evident that there has been much preparation and love invested into this home, and we were glad to have found this gem. There was enough room for everyone to have their own space, and gathering space for when we wanted to all be together out on the patio, around the dinner table, cooking meals, or just lounging around. The access to the beach, walking or driving is rather close (about a 10 minute walk to the sand), and a 10-15 minute drive to many of the island’s attractions, shopping, and restaurants. Neighborhood is quiet, and although it’s close to the main road it was not a bother or unpleasant.

Perfect for family of four(parents and two 20+ “kids”. The pool and spa were PERFECT!! The house is super charming. Had all we needed in a perfect(less crowded) beach area. 10 minute (shaded) walk to beach. We are on shorter side…. Anyone 6’plus just needs to be aware of ceiling fan in master bdrm. There is a 4th bedroom with bunk beds… we used to store golf clubs and clothes. So we were able to enjoy space. It was really as perfect of a rental we could ask for. Plenty of linens. Comfy comfy bed in master. Spa towels. The owners went out of their way to ensure comfort. Oh yeah! Came with bikes. Again…tall people be wary of low threshold of shed. Racked my head twice! Only only small suggestion would be better WiFi. If no care about streaming, than not a problem!

My family and I enjoyed our stay very much. The house was very clean and a nice size for our party of 8. The highlight of the property was the backyard pool and seating areas. The covered pergola was very comfortable and you could grill and eat outside as well as watch tv! The backyard was well maintained and very pretty. The hosts offered bikes and other beach supplies that were super convenient for beach days. The beach was a short bike ride or walk down a shaded bike path. About 7 minutes walking.

We stayed at this location w 4 babies under 4. The bunk bed room fit 2 pack n plays nicely. Having a pool with the water ledge was great. The house comes well equipped with so many things for the beach (umbrellas, wagons, canopies). The outside shower & pergola allowed for a lot of seating for all. We packed up one car with all of the things & then the rest of the crew took the short walk to the beach. The pool gets quite hot during the afternoon, but who can complain about the heat!? This was an awesome week get a way & we highly recommend to anyone.

This house was well equipped for two families with children! Staying for a week we did bring some of our own staples from home but the kitchen was fully stocked with cooking basics. There were plenty of towels and beach supplies. The wagon came in handy as the walk is a little far with small children. Without kids it took us 7 minutes vs 15 😆. We loved the backyard space! Thank you for allowing us to stay!

We had an excellent time on our recent trip to HHI. The home was just how the listing described. Tonya was amazing to communicate with via VRBO and text. Adults and children were all comfortable in the home. The pool was amazing to have and the beach was an easy (3-5min) bike ride or (8-10min) walk away. Shopping and restaurants are a short drive away as well. We are looking forward to our next trip!

Our hosts were gracious, respectful and highly responsive throughout our reservation process and during our stay. They made terrific amenity suggestions (restaurants, local services, entertainment). This home’s interior is spotless! Kudos to the housekeeper. The pool and spa were perfectly suited to our needs. The location to the beach, restaurants, etc., was ideal.

This home was perfect for us! The house was comfortable and clean and had several nice touches like a working fire place inside and gas fire table outside. There was plenty of seating and places for family members to hang out. Ample beach towels, bikes, and outdoor chairs were so appreciated! We opted for the hot tub which was perfect on the warmer days (we were there over Christmas break). The wide and well-maintained walking trail across the street that leads to the beach was great for stretching legs and dog walking. The location of the house was great and made for easy travel to all that HHI has to offer. Fantastic communication with the host, including fantastic restaurant and activity recommendations! An added bonus were the super nice neighbors! We would definitely stay here again!

We very much enjoyed our stay. We had 4 adults and 6 kids, the bunk room was great and patio and pool were very nice. It was a little bit longer of a walk to the beach than we were expecting, but appreciated all the beach chairs, toys, sunshades and wagon that were available in the shed in the backyard. There were bikes as well, but we didn’t use them.

This home and location was perfect for our 2 family vacation. The location to the beach was ideal. The pool, hot tub and patio amenities made everything easy to relax. The owners provided bikes, beach toys, canopies and umbrellas. Really everything needed for a day out. The quiet neighborhood was fantastic for a group of 9 ages 18 months and up. The owners were easy to reach with any questions or issues. Just a wonderful week to get away and relax! We definitely recommend a stay at Folly Field and will be back!

Everything about this trip was above our wildest dreams!! Between the beautiful, well equipped, spacious home and the great surrounding beaches, shops, and restaurants this is a can't miss location. Your home is wonderful and the pool is the perfect last piece to making your home the perfect spot to call home base while you explore beautiful Hilton Head Island. We had 5 adults and 3 kids in the home and it worked great for us. Loved the pool and hot tub. The beach is about an 8 min walk, it’s a public beach so it was very busy. We enjoyed the home and would recommend it.

We really enjoyed this house. It had plenty of space and very clean. We appreciated the extra towels and beach equipment. Wish it were a little closer to the beach but still an easy walk. Would stay here again!

Nice pool and walking distance to the beach. Good communication with the property owner. The house had pretty much everything you could possibly need in terms of additional items (ie. kitchen items, pool accessories, bikes, beach items, etc.). No major issues to report.

Five stars isn’t enough, five stars times 9 from my entire family is more like it (six adults and three children). This home is spacious and well thought out. The bunk room was perfect for the kids. Master bedroom suite with a very comfortable king bed and two bedrooms with queen beds. The backyard is perfection. The pool has a shallow end for the toddler and the rest does not get too deep. Beach is a very easy walk. Beach chairs are provided that are easy to carry like a backpack. Bikes are provided. Mini golf is a short walk. Kitchen was spacious and easy to navigate. There was ample seating inside and out. Grill worked out perfectly. Family room was spacious enough for all to hang out and wind down after pool and beach activities. Owners were attentive and communicative and we appreciate all their work to make this rental available. We would rent this property again.

This was a great rental for our family, grandparents, 2 children and spouses and 4 grandchildren ages 3-13. Everyone, but kids particularly, were in the pool morning and night. The host provided lots of water toys and they were well-used. Daily trips to the beach for sandcastle building and wave jumping were popular. The house was clean and the hosts thought of many small details and were very easy to communicate with. The bunk room for kids worked well. We were all very comfortable in this wonderful home. My 3-year-old grandson said “I want to buy this house”. Also had a Savanna day and Nature Preserve. For a group of Minnesotans after a long winter, this was a wonderful vacation.

Initially the owners were very nice and responsive and the house seemed great. However, weeks after we paid our final payment, and just 2 weeks before our trip, they provided us a previously undisclosed rental agreement, which included video surviellence of the "private" backyard/pool area (not disclosed in listing as required by VRBO), limits on visitors, the requirement for a credit card and a million other elements of fine print. The way in which this was handled led us to feel trapped in a rental we didn't want. We did go, and generally were left to enjoy our stay. However, on our last day there the owners called us frantically to question us as to whether we turned off the irrigation system (never touched it). Then the day we left we were accused of a mark on a comforter, too much dog hair in the house (we had vacuumed the night before leaving and had paid dog fees), missing towels (folded and clean left with their beach towels) and a multiple other issues all of which we felt were inaccurate accusations. These were based on the report from their cleaner, once the owners arrived the issues were dropped. Seemingly supporting the inaccuracy of those accusations. In regards to the house, we found it filled to the brim with "decor," in need of lots of general maintenance, the grill was filled with mouse poop/food remains, we had to replace the propane, tons of flies outside, the cleanliness was only surface deep, the underneath of beds wasn't clean and packed with bins of stuff, and generally a cramped square footage (we had 4 adults 1 kid). There is no bathtub and the amount of breakable decor could make having very young kiddos a there a challenge. Overall the house was not worth the cost, and it was clear we were unwanted guests in their private home.

Could not have asked for a better place to stay for the week. Tonya was very responsive to all my questions the first couple of days. Beautiful property and very convenient location to the beach. Quiet neighborhood, just lovely.
