My friends and I stayed at this beautiful Farmhouse for Super bowl Weekend, we had the best time. This house is awesome!! We had a ton of room and town is super close. Everything we needed was there. I highly recommend for a large group and would love to stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house is absolutely beautiful. My friends and I are looking forward to staying there next year. Only one complaint, the landscapers were there Friday and Saturday most of the days with loud leaf blowers and we felt like they were looking in windows.

Stayed for a local wedding. The house is great for a group, well stocked and decorated beautifully. Nice short walk to town and close to beaches!

We had a wedding in Cape May and this house was perfect for 11 adults (some younger than others) to sleep comfortably. Location to town was perfect and loved being able to have access to many bikes to ride around town. Communication with the owners was amazing and house was adorable . Even decorated a bit for Halloween We will be back.

We were very comfortable and enjoyed this lovely home. Would definitely return. Questions and concerns were addressed and resolved immediately. Would like to have had a book with information about how to operate the TV and suggestions/information about restaurants in the area. Also, we did not know there would not be toilet paper in All the bathrooms or paper towels in kitchen.

We were 5 senior ladies celebrating my 75th. I'm interested in birding, and Cape May is a destination, especially during spring and fall, for the migratory birds that come to the peninsula. I wanted a house that was centrally located and provided plenty of rooms so each could have their own space. The Black & White House was everything we could have hoped for. Beautiful inside and out. We enjoyed cooking dinners in the kitchen and morning coffees on the porch. We are cooks, and the kitchen met our needs. With regard to location: It became a joke whenever we looked for directions to any destination. "Let me guess. It's 3 minutes away." What a charming charming town, and what a beautiful house. Communications with Scott and Rhonda were perfect. They were super thorough and provided us with all the information we needed. Thank you for helping to make my 75th magical!

We have an annual golf trip every year. This year brought us to Cape May. Simply put, this is the best house we have ever stayed at. It is incredible. The guys couldn't stop talking about the porch, the history, the openness of the kitchen and family room, the decorations and furnishings.I could go on and on. It is our favorite after over 15 years of The Poppy golf trips. Thank you!

We loved our rental. It was historic yet had every modern feature. The hosts provided games as well as books. It was immaculate. We loved sitting on the front porch. The grand kids loved the swing. Would definitely recommend this property. Thank you Scott and Rhonda!

Three couples and a friend were in Cape May to attend a wedding. We loved the house. It is amazing. Very clean and beautifully decorated. This house is cozy and one to remember. Whether you are sitting on the porch, relaxing in the living room, or sitting at the kitchen table; there is plenty of room. Also, the bathrooms are a nice size and the showers have plenty of room. The house has everything you need. The kitchen is well stocked and even has a coffee grinder so you can make a delicious cup of coffee instead of having to run to the coffee shop. We needed to contact the host and the host was very responsive. Thank you for sharing your home and adding to a very memorable weekend. On our next trip back to Cape May, we know where we are staying!

Not our first time @ this house, my family & I couldn’t be happier ! Great location , near beach & town center.

We stayed at this home with my sister-in-law and her family. There was plenty of room and it was very comfortable. All of the extra touches made our stay just perfect. There are plenty of games, beach towels, beach chairs, bikes, and actually there were some bath towels, blankets, and sheets. Our bed was very comfortable. Two of the bedrooms with the king beds have their own bathrooms. Everything is decorated so nicely and everything was kept nice and neat. The only complaint I could think of is the narrow driveway, but there is also plenty of street parking. It is off a semi-busy street, but with the gated yard, we had privacy, and were able to keep the kids in the yard. It is a nice little walk to the Washington Mall. We had the best week, and would definitely recommend this adorable house!

We have four generations that vacation together year after year and this is the perfect house to give everyone all the space they need and provide no stairs entry and first floor master for older family. Our kids died over the bunk and loft in the kids room and the porch was fabulous. Couldn’t have asked for a better house!!!

Perfect for our large and growing family. Pleasantly surprised by the open floor plan and the size of the bedrooms along with all the amenities provided by the host. Beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. Loved the fenced in yard for the children and what an amazing porch. The porch was a favorite spot to hang out by all - morning, noon and night, and especially on a rainy day. Location was another plus, quiet neighborhood and just minutes to both beach and town. Best stay in Cape May so far!

This house exceeded our expectations on location, quality, and price. Highly recommend!

Overall great place. Close to marina. Perfect for our family. We did drive place to place, but was early in the seasons. Might better suit if needs are near marina and like boating. The house had everything we needed and more. If I need to say a complaint it would be the carpets need to be cleaned and blankets washed. the garage could be more organized and porch could have been wiped down. But other then that was a great place. Thank you for everything. We really enjoyed ourselves.

This home was very large and spacious! We are 6 adults and two young children and there was plenty of room for everyone! The black and white theme throughout the house was very cool! Location was great for walks . . . Lovely backyard and porch . . .

Truly an amazing home. It is in the perfect location with a comfortable walk to many cute shops and restaurants. The house was extremely spacious and well equipped. The hosts were great with communication. The best part? The beautiful yard and porch! I can’t wait to book my next trip here again.

Our group of friends had a wonderful stay. The property is beautiful, comfortable, and convenient to all of the fun we had. Communication with the owner was great and he was very helpful and accommodating. Would definitely stay again

This house is stunning on the outside and the location is fantastic. We loved the porches and the side garden and it was a short 10 minute walk to the beach or town. We hardly drove all week. Also very cool to be in the oldest house on cape May island. But! The house was filthy. On arrival we noticed that our feet were turning black from walking around the home and found food wrappers and crumbs in the beds and under furniture. I immediately contacted the owner and he was quick to send someone to mop/clean, but it was also revealed that all the blankets on beds are not washed between stays, which is why the cleaners didn’t discover the mess from the previous guests. The owner also told me “this isn’t a hotel” but I stay in a lot of rental homes and have never found one in such poor condition and generally expect more especially from a home with such a high rating. They said they would update the listing to reflect this info about the blankets not being washed. Also, the house is very cluttered and the kitchen is filled with the leftover food items (dry food items) of other guests. We had to move all the decorative objects to have space to cook and to child proof, and with all the clutter there was more hidden dirt and grime. The bathrooms were sparkling clean! Just bedrooms and living area had cleanliness issues. Note: house is described as being fully fenced in yard, but that isn’t exactly true. There is no fence between yard and driveway giving kids access to the driveway and Street if you aren’t careful.

Beautiful, spacious home, everything we needed was there. Great location, just across from the Dr Physick house and a 10-15 walk to Washington St Mall and Congress Hall. Our family celebrated our Christmas there, and the house was decorated beautifully along with a Christmas tree. Would stay there again and recommend this home to anyone. The house even has a great history, being from the 1700’s. Loved the comfortable and cozy farmhouse decor, and the 3 young grandchildren loved the bunk room and loft. All the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable with two main bedrooms with attached baths, and a beautiful hall bathroom with double vanity and separate shower and very large bathtub. The kitchen was large and fully stocked with anything you might need and a large table with plenty of room for our family of 10.

The black and White House was perfect! We were so pleasantly surprised by its size, cleanliness, water pressure, never ending hot water and modern amenities while keeping its historic feel. We loved every minute of our family Christmas season gathering!

The house is clean, well-equipped, and spacious! We had such a great family vacation. In a beautiful neighborhood and an easy walk to the shopping area. We loved it!

The great room was ideal for 2 year old to roam with her older cousins supervising. Also liked having a first floor master bedroom . Everyone enjoyed porch., especially on rainy day. Hope to gather family together next year and will definitely try to book this home again

This was such a great house in a beautiful neighborhood. Close enough to everything we needed! The check in process was easy, the house was fully stocked and everything was clean. This made for a great weekend with our friends for a wedding!
