Came in with my family for the Edinburgh Marathon.The host was very easy to work with and the location is great. We have visited Edinburgh the last three years in a row and know the area well. However I feel there are a few things lacking and some issues with overall cleanliness of the unit, especially in the bathrooms. That said, we would return and rent this flat again.

My family stayed at the property for four days during it vacation in Scotland. The property is as advertised. Two nice sized bedrooms, two bathrooms, nice living room and kitchen. Despite being right on the Royal Mile it is quiet and feels very private. It’s close to everything a tourist would want to do. The host has great communication and the glass was spotless. I would 100% stay again.
Do be aware the stairs to the flat are historic. It is a stone circular staircase but you get used to it quickly.

This is a beautiful apartment in a perfect location. If you want to be right in the center of the action, this is the spot. There are endless choices to eat and drink right outside the door. OK, the stairs are a challenge especially if you have been down to the Jolly Judge for a couple of pints, but it's worth it. We spent a lot of time with either a cup of coffee or a glass of wine just people watching out the front window. Would definitely return to stay again.

Great location on Royal Mile. Stairs were something for us seniors with luggage but we knew that going in. Loud neighbors a couple of times. Overall a nice place to stay.

We absolutely loved this place. It is right in the heart of the royal mile. Easy access to everything.
The place was very clean. It must have been redone in the past few years. The place was big enough for us - family of 5 with 3 teens.
Communication with the host was excellent. I probably sent him a few more emails than what he liked as our arrival times changed but he was always gracious and quick to reply.
I would definitely recommend this place. 5 stars from this family.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciated being right on the Royal Mile, just a couple of minutes’ walk from the castle. The Jolly Judge pub next door was incredibly scenic and cozy and we also enjoyed the live music at Ensign Ewart’s pub just a minute’s walk up the street. Sunrise from the overlook at the castle is amazing and there’s a gorgeous hike up Arthur’s seat at the bottom of the Royal Mile. A great place to take it all in!

We loved our stay in this apt. Location Amazing. Steps from the castle and so much more. We did feel that there could have been more info left. Owner does have a manual with restaurants/menus & mapping, however it would have been nice to have local phone #s for taxis, emergency etc. That being said I would stay here again in a heartbeat. I do not think you could find a better location.

The flat was right on royal mile. It was a great location. Having 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was perfect as I was traveling with my parents. The flat was very clean. The beds were comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.

Property as described. Great location. Steep climb up 2 flights of stairs to room on tight circular stairwell, but part of the charm. Well appointed, comfortably furnished rooms. Would stay again.

Perfect place to stay to enjoy Edinburgh. Amazing location with a terrific layout and has everything you need! Would 100% recommend and we hope to stay there again on our next visit to Edinburgh.

Our family had a terrific time staying in this flat in this location. The flat is gorgeous and extremely clean and cozy.
Paul was very accommodating and gave us great advice about the area, including suggestions on what to do and places to eat.

Fabulous location on the Royal Mile. Just as described - easily accommodated the five in our party. Easily accessible from the airport tram - we enjoyed our 3 nights in the apartment! Even became accustomed to the turnpike stairs!

The location of the apartment is perfect to start the tour in Edinburgh. The apartment is full of all amenities and is perfect combination of modern and old building architecture. It was nice, clean and tidy. Very good place for a big family or two small families.
