Our first trip to the lodge, it far exceeded our expectations. It was spotlessly clean, on arrival we were met by Julie who explained the use of the hot tub, showed us where everything was, all the accessible accessories were waiting as promised and she spent time sharing local knowledge. It was lovely to meet someone understanding to my mum’s disabilities and checking everything was okay. Very dog friendly lodge, and our little pug was also welcomed with open arms. The lodge directly overlooked the lake, it was fabulous to watch the Lancaster flying over and the Typhoon jets doing practice manoeuvres. Lovely lodge, cannot wait to return.

There was nothing we didn’t like! Outside of the owners control, but if you could guarantee sun every day Paul, we couldn’t ask for more! 😃

This property is in a perfect location overlooking the lake opposite the main complex, close enough to hear the music but far enough away not to be too loud. The property is very modern inside with everything you need. It has a very Spacious Decking Area with Large Hot Tub where you get a beautiful view of the sunset in the evening.

The location of this lodge is perfect its has massive windows so veiws of lakes are amazing even on cold rainy days and open plan layout eveything has been thought of theres games for rainy days a 6 person hot tub ..soft beds fully stocked kitchen coffee maker the owner and staff were acomadating and reply to messages right away where was disabled access as well as shower chair and wedge cusions for extra hight on sofas if u like planes u can watch the typhoons take off and do there manovers like a privite air show ! Can be a little loud but it was a highlight for us we will be coming back and will hopfully be able to book this lodge again ..]

Lodge had everything we needed. Very homely and comfortable. Great views over lake. Hot tub was fantastic!! Julie and Paul were very informative and helpful.

When you sat at the table having breakfast or any meal and the same as looking out at the view's from the lounge area, it was just like being on a ship/ boat. We took a few optional extras, but we didn't need them at all. It's like home from home. The beds are comfortable, and the storage space is amazing. Wardrobes in all bedrooms are a huge one in the double bedroom at the end . 2 twin rooms , beds, and bedding VERY CLEAN, then 2 more VERY CLEAN camping beds to accommodate the other 2 guests, making it up to 8. The lodge is very spacious both in and out , the sofa x2 are immaculate, and the kitchen area is equipped with every gadget you need. Toaster, kettle, microwave full size fridge freezer double oven even a dishwasher. The dining room table is a 4 seater, but there is a beautiful outdoor patio set that you could bring inside or eat outside with the breath taking view's. Then there is the hot tub WOW......what an experience to sit in this and over look the lake.....all I can say is breathtaking... it was like our own mini cruise on land. Last but not least, the hosts Paul and Julie. Communication with Paul was exceptional, very clear, and easy instructions from getting to the lodge, etc. Julie was lovely, very polite, and knowledgeable. We took your advice and had the Chinese from the Magic Wok, who may I add delivered in the time they stated, and it was absolutely beautiful, very tastey. I highly recommend it. There is wheelchair access and also doggy friendly. My fur baby would have loved this had she been alive. Thank you guy's hopefully look forward to seeing you in November for a 60th birthday. 5☆☆☆☆☆ rating.

everything. spacious, clean. stunning view over the lake and in the eve looking out with all the lights was beautiful. absolutely perfect. will definitely be returning. 5 adults stayed in our party and loads of space for us all.

everything! situated on the edge of one of the 6 lakes,, beautiful view,, bit of a walk from the entrance and the pathway for disabled or buggy uses needs to be improved but the lodge had everything we needed and more, Julie greeted us at the property and looked after us during our stay, excellent service, thankyou Paul and Julie.
