Lovely staff and hotel is located right next to the beach. Room was also very clean.

About a 30 min walk into Altea town and the tram timetable is not accurate.

Nice room with a lovely sea view. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very clean. Had off street parking. Lovely to listen to the sounds of the sea from the balcony. Rock shoes are useful as it's a pebble beach.

A little bit of a walk along the road into town - but not too bad.

Pristine clean room, comfortable, lovely bathroom, and had a large terrace with a beautiful view of the sea. The hotel has a nice restaurant with good food. The staff was very, very helpful! A great choice for the value and for 1st line to the sea!

Nothing, really! I would just recommend adding a hair dryer in the bathroom. The facade needs some work but the inside is remodeled and very comfortable.

The place is a hotel (not hostel). Very decent 3 star hotel with a beautiful view. We had a balcony with sea view. Super clean, very friendly stuff. Nice breakfast for 2.50

The location of the Hostal is quiet and ideally situated beside bike hire shop and minor road access to mountains.

I have stayed here 5 times so not much to report on dislikes. Maybe the 15 minute walk into Altea but we like that too

Room was spotless and well kept Bathroom was very spacious I had a side room with view of the beach from the Balcony All the staff were very nice helpful and friendly its a good value Hotel, We walked into Altea in15 Minutes a Taxi back was €7 I would highly recommend Hostal El Trovador

So clean. Great food in the restaurant. Friendly helpful staff. Wonderful location right on the beach.

The bed was really comfy The room is spotless and decorated well.

There was no hot water and when we spoke to the staff on reception they said give it 20 to 30 mins and ..guess what.. still no hot water, there has been no hot water for the entire duration of our stay and for that very reason and the fact it's on a very busy main road where you hear everything I would not recommend it or stay here again!!
