This hotel was AMAZING! We LOVED the traditional Japanese room, and the fact that they had a private onsen for rent was the cherry on the sundae. We weren't comfortable using the regular onsen, but the private one was PERFECT. The hotel room itself was spacious, clean, and a fantastic traditional experience. They provided clothing for walking to and from the onsen as well. The staff was so accommodating, and the breakfast was a beautiful traditional Japanese spread. Would 100% recommend!

The only complaint I have is that it was a bit far from the main part of the town with limited food options. They did have a shuttle to the station, but it only runs at one time, and we needed to be there earlier. Oh, and the price was a little high, but the experience was great.

Food for that price was rather average, service was also so-so (slow serving, quite forgetful), located in the middle of nowhere - car is a must.

The onsen was wonderful. Everything was clean and organized.

The staff were cordial but nothing more. They spoke very little English so I think that’s why they couldn’t help us much. It is very necessary to go by car, if not it is quite limited.

Breakfast room is crowded. It is like a school canteen. Too rigid in check in time and procedure. We can't even complete paper work first when arrived before 2pm and pick up room key at 3pm.
