Location was good. Breakfast was nice and room was spacious.

In a need of a makeover. Walking down the hallways and some missing panels above were revealing cable wires. Needs painting. No locks on the lockers in the pool changing rooms, pool reception didn’t have any towels left for us so had to go back to the room to get room towels. Parking in the nearest NCP was £44 for just over 24 hours!! With a 10% discount from the hotel which brought it down to £41. We will never stay here again unless parking is reduced by half. We paid £180 for a family room. Breakfast was ok but the hotel is in need of a serious update. Our room was nice but there was a strange pillar in our bathroom which left you with barely enough room to sit down on the toilet.

The bedrooms were newly decorated and a good size, fantastic to have a shower and a bath

The pool changing rooms were awful, they were dirty, there were plasters and tissues on the floor. There were also no towels available, meaning we had to use the towels from our room. Breakfast was ok, however many of the cooked items were over cooked and dry. When checking out there was a family at the desk and there was some confusion over how much they had to pay, the member of staff dealing with their issue was very rude to them.

We have stayed here many times and will stay again it is situated in a great place and the restaurant is lovely

The room was nice enough though I was sad to see we did not have a dressing table. I also asked for robes and we did not get any . The pool was absolutely freezing how on earth they call that heated I’ll never know.

Freezing cold pool. No robes. No dressing table. Would not allow me to collect Hilton honors because we’d booked with booking . Com. All a con considering they still got my money over another Cardiff hotel. I won’t be as loyal next time.

Parking -expensive and nothing worse than having to carry your all your luggage in the pouring rain in your 70's to a NCP carpark where the payment machine decides not to work. For a hotel costing this much there should be allocated parking. Breakfast extremely expensive The original coffee machines provided for the event caused problems for the event staff until replaced. Not given an invoice or print out for the cost of our stay -with a comment that 'we have taken it off the card you used to prebook'.
