Nothing to dislike

The finca is situated in a beautiful location, close to a tiny, idyllic beach. You’ll probably need a car to get there but it’s worth the drive. The house is very tastefully decorated, the rooms are simple and elegant, beds and bedding very comfortable, everything is spotlessly clean and there is great attention to detail in everything. there are no TVs in rooms which is fabulous - it means you can enjoy the surroundings, the peace, and when you open the windows after a good night’s rest, you can hear the sounds of nature, birds, the cowbells, nearby stream etc. The host is welcoming and kind, and gave us some great recommendations for our onward journey. Carmen prepared a huge, varied, fresh, wonderful breakfast for us which kept us going all day. We wish we had stayed longer here and will definitely return. Thank you, Finca Portizuelo.

so beautiful, clean, modern, and spacious! the “secret beach” as my husband and I called it was absolutely stunning, as were the hills with grazing sheep right outside our window. I couldn’t believe we were so lucky to stay there.

Breakfast was basic, no eggs were offered, coffee en tea from a thermo canister.

Lovely quiet location with beautiful garden. Clean comfortable rooms & stylish sitting area and dining room. Stony beach a couple of minutes walk away.

Would have been impossible to find without Google maps. For us the food was a little disappointing especially the evening meals. Breakfast was much better!

It's amazing, wonderful garden, hidden in a tiny valley on its own. 3 min walk to beautiful beach. 10min drive to most beautiful town (Luarca). Very warm and friendly staff, helpfull and professional. Simply amazing.

For me it add character and makes it ever better, but inexperienced drivers might find it difficult to get to, due to narrow and steap roads.

Ideal location next to a secluded beach (you will have to walk like 20min to the city center though). The staff is extremely dedicated and eager to give you all the info you need on the area and restaurants. Good breakfast. Only a few rooms make you feel staying at a large private house

Breakfasts were good and well organised. Rooms and surroundings were comfortable and location very relaxing.

Fact they did not do Dinner or Bar and this was not communicated. Everything was a drive to Luarca and for the nervous driver the road was challenging, as was finding the hotel after dark.

Nice host who informed us about all the nice places in the area. Great breakfast. Beautiful garden and house.
