Just steps from the train station, this hotel is directly in front of the beach. We loved being able to eat our delicious buffet breakfast outside above the beach. It's a great hotel in the lovely, newer section of Monterosso.

Friendly and service minded. They always replied to my emails. Beautiful placed in front of the ocean and in walking distance to old city.

Lovely location right by the beach with a lovely sea front balcony! Sparkly yellow walls were pretty and deserve a mention.! Nice aircon room with en suite bathroom, smooth check in and out. Great breakfast and private beach.

Slight confusion around whether hotel guests can use the private beach or not without purchasing umbrella, but amazing that there is one!

Horrible staff, they were rude and unprofessional from check-in to check-out. They consistently treated guests as a bother and repeatedly berated us if found drinking water or eating Gelato at their hotel reserved tables outside, which were always empty. Use of the private beach was limited to guests who paid an additional cost for an umbrella however they failed to mention any of the specifics on how and when the umbrellas could be purchased. If you chose to sit in front of the hotel, at the hotel reserved tables, you could not have any outside food or drinks, to include water. To order drinks you had to go inside and talk to the sole person working, the desk clerk. No food was for sale, only beverages. If there was other lodging available we would have checked out and gone elsewhere.

Our room balcony overlooked the beach. Loved the friendly staff especially the wonderful, kind and welcoming breakfast host. Location was great!

The location is right by the train, on the water which is the only reason anyone should ever stay there because the actual property should be a 1 star not 3.

Staff didn't help with luggage despite there being no elevator. The room is old, dingy, cracked walls, small, ugly.

I think this is the best hotel I’ve ever been in. And the hospitality was incredible - I had the feeling I was part of a family when I arrived. Such friendliness, quality of service and the AC just blasting 24 hours straight. Wow. The location alone is worth at least $600 per night.

I think there was too much food in the buffet. I was stuffed all day just from the breakfast alone.

The position of the hotel is perfect as it is 2 minutes away from the train station and directly in front of the beach. We booked the room with the Seaview and the view is well worth it. The breakfast as well was really good and you can sit in front of the beach to have it so its a refreshing start for your day.

The room is small, the elevator is only used for luggage so be ready for a mountain climb if you have a high floor room. The receptionists were not welcoming upon our arrival and neither during our stay. When we talked to them in person, or over the room phone, they always started the sentence with "I already told you this before" with an aggressive tone (even if they didn't actually tell us). So it was unwelcoming.

there is no elevator, which was fine for me, but elderly people or not so physically fit ones might struggle (3 rather high floors). staff friendliness varied from absolutely lovely to being impatient and overwhelmed with the load of tourists.

Staff is incredibly friendly. Some speak English, but all were patient and willing to work with me through broken Italian. Amazing location right on waterfront for breakfast. Access to private beach across the street.

Cinque Terre in general wasn’t overly comfortable. For example, when we first arrived with our kids and grandparents who couldn’t walk well, we had to carry all of our luggage by hand while illegally parked about 50m from hotel. A luggage cart or some assistance would have been ideal.

View and location (remember to ask for the terrasse😅 the Beach was lovely and clean.

Breakfast was as expected- standard. The receptionist was terrible, rude. Fyi: your sheets stink of parfume, which makes the wHole Room smell bad of parfume. Not good for anybody!
