the pool, the excellent breakfast, the friendliness of the staff

there was a problem with the sewers in an adjacent room which affected my room. But everything was solved.

The terrace was lovely, the breakfast was excellent – just like a restaurant, and the pool was clean and well-kept as were the rooms.

Definitely a place with a character. It must have been a hunting lodge or something like that, judging by the amount of animal trophies. Nice, comfy rooms with a view on beautiful Monsaraz. Very helpful owner. Good local restaurant nearby. Very good breakfast.

amazing staff and host. they went out of their way to help us in every way. prepared food, served wine, kept the fire place going and calling taxi.

Wi-Fi was unable to connect

The house is a typical Alentejo house, so it has the most beautiful alpendre (porch). It was autumn but the days were beautiful and sunny so we were able to profit from it.

The rooms were a bit too cold during the night (but we didn't try to turn on the air conditioning, it would have surely helped). The cars on the street made a bit of noise at 8am, even if it is a very quiet village.

Everything, the position, the owner was gracious and kind, the facilities were clean and really very adequate, especially as my mobility is severely compromised and the breakfast setting with the view of Monsaraz was magnificent...

Perfect location to explore stunning breakfast venue with a view

A comfortable house conveniently located within very short distance from the main places of interest in the zone. The owner is very warm and gentle. The room was a bit dark but it had a small terrace with all the sun you want.

Bathrooms were a good size Good breakfast

Check in seemed a bit complicated. The woman was nice but no one there spoke English. She made a copy of my ID but then forgot to give it back to me. I’m waiting for them to send it in the post but had to have a Portuguese speaker explain what happened as they did not respond to any messages I had sent them. Hotel is away from the little village on the hill, but it’s a short drive. WiFi did not work in the room.

We liked everything about our stay,felt relaxed and comfortable the minute we arrived and so did our dog. Great breakfast , and having the use of a little kitchenette was just great. We will be back Thank you so much to all the staff.
