The location was excet

The pool is very shallow- can’t really swim in it. We had a number of storms while we were there and water poured into the property through the bottom of every external door making it very wet and slippery on the tiled floors. There was no mop available. There was a problem in the area with no water supply for about 30 hours. We had to use water from the swimming pool to flush the toilets! The dishwasher did not work either. We reported all incidents to the hosts but got very little response or help. Someone did deliver some floor cloths to us the next day, but we’d already had to use towels to dry the floors.

The view was amazing, the house is very convenient even for a large group of people 10-12. Great outdoor space and really interesting experiences at the house like privet chef and in the area generally, suggested by our host Mina. Mina also helped us with everything we needed for our vacations and was welcoming and ready to provide support more than we have ever seen.

the shower unit in the top en-suite had no shower screen and the water was directly hitting the back on the wooden wardrobe so the wood was rotting. it great.

Fits a lot of people. Big garden and terraces. Can be as loud as you want. Lot of privacy between floors and lots of common areas for everyone to get together.

Very very dirty. All the outdoor furniture had spiderwebs and insects everywhere. The pool was very dirty and full of mosquitos. The whole property in general was FULL of insects especially spiders (HUGE ONES). The bottom floor which has 2 beds and 2 baths was very humid because of mold growing on the walls and smelt terrible. No lock on the main door which makes it very unsafe. All the lights didn’t work. No extra towels or bin bags. Host was late for check in. Location wise; the villa is up on a hilltop with no supermarkets/restaurants/public transport or anything close by. No food delivery or taxi that will drop you till the inside as it’s a one way lane.

The house was fantastic with gorgeous views. It was very close to town (Sant'Agata) and certainly walkable if you're comfortable walking down the narrow road that leads to the house. Marianna and Mariano were excellent hosts, very responsive and helpful. For example, we had previously arranged a private boat excursion to Capri that canceled on us the night prior to the cruise. Mariano began helping us find a new captain that night (about 10pm!) and Marianna finalized the details the next morning... we had a van at our door ready to take us to the marina for our cruise at 10:45am! By the way, a private cruise to Capri was an incredible experience for all which will not be forgotten any time soon.

There were some ant issues when we checked in but I notified Mariano and he quickly deployed some cleaning people who were able to mostly take care of the issue.
