Het was een top locatie, op de een of andere manier was onze boeking via booking.com niet doorgekomen. Waardoor we niet 2 nachten in de kamer konden die we geboekt hadden. Maar ze dachten met ons mee waardoor we er wel konden blijven en een prima alternatief kregen!
Tja gewoon de kamer krijgen die je hebt gevraagd zodat je niet tussen door moet wisselen van kamer. Maar of dat hun fout is.....?

Excellent property, the environment is very good, the property keep in a good conditions, the room is big enough for a family, there are very nice living room at the ground, and are small coffee table at the outdoor. The sleeping room and the bath room at the upper floor. Everything are look fine and elegant.
We dinner at the restaurant, the food and service is very good.
The breakfast could be better. The swimming pool and the golf are not inside the property, there are around 3KM from the property.

The breakfast had a wide variety of choice every morning, use of the swimming pool at their sister hotel was a bonus. The staff were very helpful, all spoke English which was great considering our Dutch is was very sub-standard.
The bedroom was in need of modernisation, it is now looking a bit dated in places especially the bathroom. Housekeeping was a bit hit and miss in terms of cleaning, changing towels and ensuring there were enough toiletries available during the stay.

Great surroundings, beautiful location, good food at the restaurant and breakfast, very comfortable. The sauna in the room was a great addition.
The setting and comfort come at a price (e.g. the hotel is not cheap). Further no complaints!

The room was beautiful, spacious and well decorated. The castle is in a beautiful location and the staff provided us with advice on activities in the area and provided us with a free map for a nearby cycling route!
Nit-picking: The breakfast was good, but options were a little limited. It would have been nice to have more fresh fruit options, rather than just pre-made fruit salad.

The rooms in the tower are great. the other rooms are a little outdated. And a hotel isn’t really “dog friendly” when the dog has to stay in the room and isn’t allowed anywhere else.

I booked this hotel for St Valentine's Day and I had no regrets for choice I made: the staff was friendly, the food in the restaurant was delicious, and in general this place is exquisitely beautiful and romantic.

Nice food, delivered to our room. Decent choice of foods, and it was easy for Tea and coffee as the room facilities were decent. Room was clean, nice and spacious, nice out door space too.

Beautiful property, surrounded by beautiful and peaceful scenery. To us, the experience of staying in this property was excellent! it is clean, comfortable, and they welcome our dog as well :)
We have enjoyed the dinner in their restaurant. The food taste, food presentation, and service were great!

Absolutely beautiful setting! Great location and highly recommended dinner service.
The rooms are not cleaned well. Lots of dead insects, spider web and black mold in the showers. Such a pity as the property has a huge potential.

This was a quiet and beautiful location, with a nice room with ground+1st, very spacious and clean.

The place itself had so much character. It's a great escape from the usual city scene (but near enough to Roermond if you want that). The sauna was a nice add-on bonding moment (we weren't really sure if we were doing it right so we had fun figuring it out haha). Restaurant had good food, staff were very accommodating.

-Good western breakfast.
-Fridge in the room.
-Large free parking space and facilities to charge an electric car.
-TV on upper floor was broken. Despite efforts to fix this, it was ultimately not resolved within my stay.
-No complimentary water.
-Aircon a bit noisy.
