It was so nice to have fresh fruit and yoghurts on offer for breakfast. I received an email prior to check in offering a car parking space which was a nice touch.

The atmosphere is lovely. Nic and Eddie are so welcoming and friendly and nothing is too much trouble.

I was at Clovelly and I can say that it was the most exciting experience of my trip. Nic & Ed provided us with a comfortable room and the breakfast was outstanding. They gave us some advice on famous places to visit. I just wanted to say thanks for everything, send hugs to Trixie <3

it was very central, was super clean, plenty of tea making items. Modern with vintage styling. Nice Breakfast served well.

Wasn’t the property’s fault but having central accommodation, means having to put up with last order noise!! if you don’t do stairs, just book level 1!! lots of stairs and top room old windows mean cold night bug I have mentioned this to the owner, hopefully thicker curtains will sort this out. I would definitely stay again, just on floor 1 level :)))) parking is free just a 5/10 minute walk away!!

What a fantastic little hotel. Very homely feel to it. The room was tidy and clean. Comfy bed. The service was brilliant. The cooked breakfast was lovely, too. Cooked fresh to order, Bacon, 10 on 10. Button mushrooms, bingo. Black pudding, snap. Minor criticism, more distance between the eggs and the beans. I may want to mix them, but I want that to be my decision. Use a sausage as a breakwater. But I'm nit-picking, on the whole, a very good effort - 7 on 10. 🤪 I seriously can't fault this place and will certainly be staying again. Lovely little bar area, too, with plenty of drinks to choose from. Perfect location, too. There is plenty of parking nearby. Thank you The Clovelly keep up the good work 😊

My only criticism is they didn't have any draught lager on the tap, so I had to have a double gin and tonic instead. But I'm OK with that as I love gin and had already had plenty of pints out in Llandudno.

Couldn't fault the place would stay again

We booked 2 separate rooms for 4 people , we arrive in time everything was OK as it is 4 starts hotel 🤦‍♀️ but once we get to our rooms no hot water and not even water running from the hot tap ! Plus no shower and the other friend in the other room his shower pipe is broken ! We complain about the hot water to the owner he said I have a problem in the boiler plus the heating switched off in the night time !! I went down to the reception again and I told him the rooms are sooo cold as the heating switched off , the owner said I will switched it back ! But in the end we slept in. A cold rooms plus no shower at all we speak to the owner in the morning to complain about the night mare we had in his 4 stars hotel he said I will refund you . Was a very bad experience ever we had and definitely won't back there again and I don't advice anyone to go there and if so you have to check with them first if everything's is working or not .

Parking was Ok but not idea. There was a mixture of short stay free street and paid longer stay park in the area, but don’t expect to park close by when it’s busy. Free after 4pm til 10am but that means a prompt check out in the morning.

Good breakfast and there's a bar.

A fantastic place to stay for a lovely break. Location, owners, room and breakfast all excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return. Thank you very much!

The room was great,breakfast was lovely, evening meal was as good as any of the local restaurants, staff very friendly,location was ideal for us.

Loverly family, very homely and welcoming my husband was 60 that,s why we went and they decorated with banners and came in with a cake it was a loverly touch. The place itself was close to everthing.

Ther was nothing we did,nt like had a thoughly grt weekend.

The property was very homely, and we were made to feel extremely welcome. It was clean and tidy, and room we had booked was a lovely big room, and bathroom with a walk in shower that overlooked the sea.

Beds were too soft. Bar was closed when we wanted to use it.
