We enjoyed our stay in Pacific Grove at Seagull's Nest. Walking distance to the Aquarium, Lover's Point, bike path, farmer's market, and downtown restaurants. Little market also close by. We traveled with son, DIL, and toddler. It was great to have a dining area and kitchen traveling with a toddler as we ended up doing a lot of take out and eating at home. Living area was fine for 4 adults; would be tight with 6. Beds were comfortable and house was overall, well appointed. We would stay again.

The only suggestions I have are as follows: The upstairs rooms need mirrors (since all bathrooms are downstairs, a mirror upstairs would be super helpful), also, a coat rack or some hooks near the front door would be great (for coats, dog leash, purses, etc). Otherwise, everything was perfect!

Delightful stay in a charming home. It has a well stocked kitchen, was clean and very comfortable for our stay. Nice location, making many areas walkable. Quiet. Lovely backyard area.

We loved the house! It was very nice, clean & conveniently located. The location was great. Restaurants only a block away, we loved the Victorian restaurant for breakfast! The kitchen was well stocked. We ate out mostly but did eat breakfast there. Would have liked a regular toaster, the toaster oven didn’t work very good. Would definitely stay again. We have 2 golden retrievers & it was nice to have a backyard & walking to the Lover’s Point Park was so nice. Great ocean front!

Family of 5 adults stayed there for my sons wedding in Carmel. It was an easy location to wherever we needed to go. I was up early every morning walking the path along the ocean. Great coffee, lunch and dinner right around the corner. Home was immaculate and had everything we needed. Parking was easy in front of the house. I would definitely stay here again.

This house was so lovely! Great area, super clean and really comfortable. Right in the perfect spot of town. We were here for a business trip from Impact Lighting Audio and Video and it was a great home for our staff. Would absolutely recoomend!

My family had a great stay at the seagull house. The house is very cozy and has a nice ocean view. The kitchen is well appointed and we had no trouble finding everything we needed to cook during our stay. The upstairs bedrooms get a little warm during the day but opening the windows cools it right off! The only small incident we had during our stay was the fire alarm was beeping and in need of a new battery. It was a simple fix and the management company was very quick to reply to my messages. Really not a big deal but worth mentioning because they were really responsive. The house is in a great (and very walkable!) location. We saw deer in the morning multiple times (a big hit for our 6 yr old) and did a lot of exploring in the neighborhood. The restaurants nearby are quite good too. This house is definitely a solid choice if you’re headed to the Pacific Grove/Monterey/Carmel area.

The cottage was more conveniently located than we anticipated. We could walk to the beach in 4 minutes and to fabulous restaurants and shops in 2! We especially enjoyed the numerous antique shops and boutiques close by. We didn't need to purchase anything extra. The kitchen and bathrooms provided everything we needed for our stay including coffee filters, baggies, soap and shampoo etc. The part of our trip that struck me the most was the genuine kindness of the people in Pacific Grove. Whether it was the staff calling to check on our stay, a waitress, a shop owner, or someone on the street asking if we needed directions. Everyone was friendly, generous, and considerate. We appreciated the luxury linens, towels, and comfortable beds. We will definitely be back.

My daughters, their partners and I stayed in this quaint home for my daughter's wedding in Monterey. The home was clean, well equipped with an ocean view. The location was great for walking to Lover's Point as well as good local restaurants. We were just a 2 minute drive from Cannery Row as well. The property management company was very responsive with any questions or requests. We would definitely stay here again!

Seagulls Nest was located within minutes to everywhere. We loved being able to walk out the door to coffee, restaurants, and the coastal trail. The house had everything we needed, was comfortable and clean.

Overall, great place. Close enough to Lovers Point where you can walk. Minute drive to the Aquarium. Quick drive to Fisherman’s Wharf. Only critiques, and a small one, are both bathrooms are on the main floor and kind of creaky when walking. Would definitely return.

We arrived just after 5pm which made it "after hours" and the lockbox code they gave us did not work. We had just driven 3 hours with a 1-year old baby so this was quite an inconvenience. Thankfully, within 20 minutes we had the code we needed by calling the after-hours phone number. They have a call center who then contacts the person who will get back to you so it took a bit to get in. They sent someone the next day to update the lockbox code so we could use that code to put the keys in the box safely. We were missing hand towels in the guest bathroom upon arriving and the cleaning staff left out some cleaning products but this wasn't a big deal so we made due. The house is very creaky as it is a very old home. Trying to tiptoe around to not wake up the baby was difficult. The stairs and the second story has very creaky floors. Plus both bathrooms are downstairs so those upstairs have to go downstairs every time to use the bathroom overnight. It is renovated beautifully though. It feels very updated inside. The living room was much smaller than we expected but it worked okay. The floorplan makes the livingroom too small to hang out with your group. We ended up hanging out at the kitchen table the most. The backyard is lovely but always pretty chilly. Even in July the weather was cold so we weren't in the backyard much. I will say that the location is great, there are nice restaurants and beach in walking distance. The neighborhood is great. On the day we checked out the entire city had a power outage so we lost all electricity and there was a loud beeping noise coming from an adjacent building that started at about 4am. Needless to say, we had a rough check out as well. This of course was no fault to the property management. The last complaint I have would be that the outside trash can was full when we arrived for our 4-night stay so we called to have it cleared.
