We enjoyed our stay the week of Thanksgiving. Nice layout, very comfortable. A little closer to Red Arrow, but no noise. Enjoyed the wood burning stove and the open kitchen. Thanks!

This was our second year in a row coming up for the Columbus Day weekend and it was another memorable trip. Between the fall festival, the pumpkin patch, the beach, and the surrounding wineries and breweries, the whole family had a blast. The house was the perfect set up once again and the kids loved playing on the playground in the backyard. Can’t wait to do it again next year..

Nice place with everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The location was great - short walk to a very nice beach on Lake Michigan. Quiet neighborhood. Owner was very responsive. Great experience all the way around.

My family stayed here for Christmas and it was wonderful!! The place had everything we needed. The only issue we had was the tiny tv in the main living room was very hard to see. I would love to visit again.

We were very impressed with Jamie’s place. The inside was very clean and spacious. The outside was equally as great with a large backyard with a very nice play set. This place is ideal for families with younger kids and we will definitely be back. We highly recommend this house!

Cute house, only a couple hand towels and washcloths. No top sheers on beds, dishes left in dishwasher. Paid for cleaning n not sure it was cleaned b4 I got there. Load train n traffic noice Very nice beach

We had a wonderful stay at this house! Plenty of room for our family of 5 and pup, very clean, well-stocked and just a 5-minute walk to the beach! There was even a bottle of wine and s’mores supplies for us to enjoy when we arrived! We loved every part of it and hope to return next year!

Quick walk to the beach. Private backyard (trees, bushes that created privacy from neighbors). We had 6 adults and am glad we didn’t invite more friends - it would’ve been too tight. We would definitely return!

Jamie's beach rental could not have been a better fit for our family! First, Jamie was so kind, generous, and responsive with our questions. The location of the beach house was perfect and it was so nice to not have to fight for space at the beach. My kiddos loved making smores and playing in the backyard playset when we weren't at the beach. The location, hosts, and cleanliness of the beach house will definitely bring us back. :). This is an enjoyable property in a nice location near Lake Michigan. The walk to the beach is short and easy. There are about 50 steps down to the association's private beach so be prepared for that. It is a short ride to New Buffalo where you can find tennis and pickle ball courts by the high school. You also can find plenty of restaurants in town and on the drive in from the property. We were happy that the home was stocked with an assortment of condiments and basic spices and oils. There were also coffee pods for the Keurig style machine. There are plenty of dishes and a decent amount of silverware and other cooking utensils. If you are staying for more than a couple of nights, you may miss a dresser to unpack a little. The sleeping was comfy and we liked the two separated living areas. The second full bath is very tiny but will work in a pinch. If you have children, they will enjoy the yard. On the chilly nights we were there, we enjoyed the wood burning stove. On warmer days and evenings I am certain the outdoor areas and screened porch would get plenty of use!

We enjoyed a few sunny March days at Jamie’s home and felt far away from our city life! The house is comfortable for a family with a great backyard our toddler loved. It was a short, easy walk to the beach and we enjoyed the quiet afternoons waking along the lakeshore. Jamie was a flexible and accommodating host - we are grateful for her hospitality and would gladly stay again!

We had such a lovely long weekend at Jamie’s cute, cozy lake house. It was the perfect getaway for a cold Valentine’s Day, with an incredible fireplace and living space that made us feel right at home (not to mention the wine and chocolates, which were such nice touches!). The home was tastefully decorated and the kitchen was incredibly well-stocked with great equipment and appliances. True to the photos in the listing, it was spotless, which is so important to us given the increased risks of traveling these days. It smelled great, too! We’ll definitely be back again when the weather warms up.

Beautifully decorated and immaculate cottage, perfect for a long weekend winter getaway. Short, easy walk to the beach. We loved being able to use the fireplace and appreciated that the cottage is pet friendly. Jamie was very responsive and helpful. We look forward to renting in the summer!

The cottage was exactly as described. It’s cute, clean, spacious and warm. My family enjoyed our stay. The location is great, the beach is wonderful, and eve in the dead of winter it’s a great getaway. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The owner was very easy to communicate with. Plenty of room in the house for 4 adults and 2 children. The walk to the beach was easy! I would rent again if we plan another trip to the area.

Jamie's home is perfect for a weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of life! It's a cozy space with adequate space for our family of five to relax and enjoy a slower pace. The house came equipped with everything we needed. The updated bath and kitchen gave the house a fresh and light feel while also embracing the age and charm of the older floors and quirky design elements. I would say that the 2nd petite bath was a little more challenging to navigate for our 12 and 14 year olds, so we all ended up taking turns using the larger bath. The location is great, close to everything. The backyard and swing set were a hit with our 10 year old. Jamie was easy to work with and a great host. It's an excellent value. We would make a return visit!

Well, we can’t wait to return to this house. Wish we could spend the whole fall there ... great area, easy walk to beach ... and New Buffalo is just 10 minutes away. We’ll be back!

We enjoyed all the amenities of this adorable, cottage-like home. We were very comfortable and very much enjoyed the private outdoor living spaces including the screened in patio. I also very much appreciated the prompt attention by the property manager of any questions and she had great suggestions for local establishments!! A great time was had by my family!!! The close private beach was amazing!!

Absolutely excellent! Wonderful owners, great time, beautiful home with everything we needed. Beach was great, apple picking perfect - even our little dog had fun! Our family had a great time and will be returning again.

Charming and spacious cottage. Comfortable Clean and In the middle of harbor country. Great yard and a little oasis in Lakeside. Great hosts and a perfect spot to enjoy our two day stay.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay in this ideally located house. Beach was fantastic and close. Backyard playground was perfect. Lots of wildlife too, which we loved (saw deer, hawks, and raccoons). Host was super easy and quick to communicate with.

Jamie’s home was so comfortable, great location and so peaceful. Went on several walks on the lake, antique, shopping, dog parks and the dunes. My husband and pups had a great time!

We had such a wonderful stay at this cottage with our family - the place was comfortable for my husband, 2 small kids and both my mom and mother-in-law. It was so nice having a swing set/play area for my kids when we weren't at the beach and the beach was beautiful, not crowded and just a short walk from the house. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the back porch and sat around the fire pit at night (and actually were able to have a fire on the beach one night as well!) Such special memories!

We had a great stay! Loved the area and the beach. Saw tons of wildlife and had a wonderful time at the beach. Would definitely return
