Read the ENTIRE listing! This is a very misleading rental option. The pictures are gorgeous, but they most likely DO NOT reflect the rental unit you are assigned. The listing says the "villa" is 1300 sq. feet; but our assigned unit was not a villa and was less than 1,000 sq. feet. We complained to the rental agency who lists this property, and they would not yield or admit any deception. When we were considering booking this ad in December, we specifically asked is the indoor heated pool was still open. We were assured that it was; but that entire building has been closed for over 8 months. After 2 days, the management offered to move us, but we had already gotten settled in. We did ask for a small refund because of the mis-information, but we were made to feel like we were at fault for booking this place.
Understand, please, our unit was clean, and we did enjoy our stay at the place. It is central to Sugar Mountain, Banner Elk, and Beech Mountain. We enjoyed being close to several restaurants and other places to go snowtubing.
