Location: Walking distance to the airport.

Dirty, uncomfortable mattresses, cold, and most importantly, the room I was given was not the one it was supposed to be. It didn’t have a private toilet/bathroom.

Close to the airport so what we needed. All clean and private bathroom.

The mattress was so old and out of shape, that we were rolling out of the bed. My husband ended up sleeping on the extra covers on the floor as to not fall. There's is also no insulation so you'll hear absolutely everything in the other rooms. We barely slept. For such a price, you'd expect at least decent mattresses. Finally, we've been trying to get an invoice for our stay for over 3 weeks, so we could get easyjet to refund us as we had to book due to a cancelled flight. We contacted them through text, calls and even via booking.com customer’s service over 15 times, but the host has simply ignored us to this date. Very poor service...

The location was wonderful facilities top of the line and the beach was really nice

Frühstück war Selbstbedienung, daher verliert der Besitzer wohl die Übersicht über die Frische der Produkte. Der Toast war verschimmelt. In die Margarine-Schale geht jeder Gast mit dem Messer rein, halt manchmal auch, wenn Konfitüre dran war.. . Unser Zimmer hatte keine richtige Türe und ließ sich nicht dicht schließen. Eher unangenehm, wenn direkt vor dem Zimmer der Frühstückstisch steht, wo die anderen Gäste essen. Es gab auch nur diesen einen Tisch. Man muss warten bis die anderen fertig sind

The bed was comfortable. The fridge was stocked. The location was close to the airport even though it was very confusing how far this place actually is (based on the description provided online).

The owner was never available to answer my phone call. When checking in, I had to call her to show up. When there were strangers knocking on the window at 4 am, the owner was nowhere to be found-no answer to phone call or text. When I was complaining about leaking ceiling that we experienced during the night the next morning when she finally showed up, she said it was "not her doing" and slammed the door in front of my face. The backyard was full of dog's excrements, making it impossible to use, especially with children.

Close to Gatwick for an early morning flight

Uncomfortable, squeaky bed in a noisy residential house at a very high price (but close to Gatwick). In hindsight, I wish I had rented a car and slept in that! Vague/semi-useless walking directions for the complicated route to Gatwick North Terminal. I almost missed my flight as I wandered around car parks in the semi-dark trying to find a path through a wood. My "10 minutes" walk was almost 30. In short, avoid if possible

Unfortunately, nothing. As we weren’t given any instructions to access the property. The worst booking I could ever do in my life. 2 am, outside the property, looking for keys or any kind of access. Called more than 6 times, got a message from Joanne in the morning telling me to keep an eye on the inbox and nothing was sent in order for us to access the property. Embarrassing and outrageous, having paid 200 euros and ended up sleeping in the airport. Will forward a proper complaint and hope to hear any kind of explanation from the owner and booking itself.

Nothing to evaluate as never got to stay there.

Only location is great in terms of getting to the airport.

Too expensive for this kind of room. No proper lights, blinds were dysfunctional, had to adjust everything myself which was uncomfortable and time consuming, otherwise other people could see me using the bathroom. Mattress extremely uncomfortable, everything is so dated including bed, mattress, bathroom. Bathroom door had some sharp metal bit sticking out, where I scratched myself badly! This should never be the case. Spider webs all around the room. No sound isolation, you can hear anyone moving or talking in their rooms. Breakfast? What breakfast are you even talking about? Some fruits and slices of bread? This is extremely misleading! In the morning host was nowhere around, I didn't know where to put the key! Tried to contact her by phone but no response. Gladly the other hotel guest let me know that I should leave the key in the door lock!

Beautiful buildings and surroundings, amazing lady with 2 beautiful dogs, I like that i had my dogs woth me and they had free roam of the garden, we all loved it and we will definitely be back

Breakfast was slim pickings, host made us wait a long time at front door and was never to be seen again the shower got stuck on and another guest helped us turn it off as couldn’t locate host, hot tub was advertised and not in use, we could hear everything from the other rooms,long walk to nearest food source a pub located on a walk through the cemetery and dark at night

My only issue was the shared bathroom, but that’s a personal thing for me, it was always immaculately clean, and did not take anything away from our stay and did not put me off staying again

It’s so good, absolutely love the dogs, sofa, beds, it’s convenient to get to the gatwick airport. Love the free food and drinks, and the dishwasher. Staffs are friendly, neighbors are nice, very welcoming. Would definitely book it again next time it’s just so perfect!

The fan downstairs was broken I think so it was pretty hot last night, even with the windows opened. Also I suggest to add in the bus numbers that get to the hazelwick, kinda struggled to get here as a tourist without bus number instruction on the website cos the Google map was not being too useful😂 Oh also, I think the website mentioned 2 beds for 5 people, but it actually turned out to be 3 beds and 1 sofa there, which has made us super happy, so yeah just change it from 2 to 3, nothing much to complain overall tbh, it exceeded more than expectation

Awesome hostess, very accommodating and friendly, had a great one night stay and we regretted not being able to stay longer (next day flight to our destination). Really close to the airport, fair taxi prices. Ask the hostess where to eat and she will give you all kinds of suggestions! Breakfast was simple and good. The yard is pretty amazing in my opinion, welcoming and makes you want to stay longer... Will stay there again if we go by that area!

Our room was the Harry Potter room, for us young people it worked just fine, but for access for my older mom it was more difficult with the amount of stairs (and "narrowness") to go to it. But there are enough rooms that don't have such narrow stairs, so I'd say, if you have difficulty with stairs, make sure you don't get that particular room! (I personally LOVED it) 🤩

Loved our stay, Joanne was very kind and they have snacks available all day which was great for us since we were so tired to go eat out. We would love to come back!

We enjoyed the hospitality, as well as the facilities and the location was brilliant all within walking distance.

The garden was nice but didn’t get to go in as it was raining.

Great location with very helpful staff. Excellent facilities available and pool plus spa are a bonus. Added parking to our stay was the icing on the cake
