A very old cottage with traditional furniture. Although well equipped for children it’s a constant worry that small children will trip over the many steps within the cottage. The stairs are very steep not suitable for those with limited mobility. The garden was a good size and as we had excellent weather we spent a lot of time in it. With both sun and shade available from the trees.

Really enjoyed our weekend in this lovely cottage. Amenities were excellent. One night we phoned a couple of takeaway places, as advertised in the cottage information, and asked them to deliver to the property but told that due to Covid 19 they were not delivering that far out. However we found an Indian takeaway that delivered within the hour. So if you are thinking of having a takeaway please plan in advance. WiFi works best in one part of the cottage than another but this is not a major problem at all. We all had a lovely time and very easily located. The handover of the keys was very smooth and we were handed some tasty home grown produce. Lovely fresh flowers were ready and waiting to welcome us. The cottage has a lovely warm, family atmosphere. Many thanks and will definitely book again.

We had a fantastic 4 night stay. Our 7 and 4 year old loved the house. The quirky layout was idea and the additional kids toys which were different from their own was a nice treat. The fresh flowers in the cottage on arrival was a lovely surprise. The location was great for what we wanted, fresh air walks and access to Cambridge for some punting. We did have some fun removing very sticky mud off the shoes after a walk around the local fields. Even being 6ft 3 the ceilings didn't feel close and no bumped heads. The fact it is two cottages joined was great to share with another family giving privacy at bedtime. The owner was extremely helpful and responsive to any questions we had. We would highly recommend this cottage for those looking for a great family escape.
