Great property with lots of room for families, both indoor and outdoor. The spaces are large enough for all to gather together, and for the adults to get separation from the kiddos as well. Really nice place, really clean, would recommend...

Absolutely beautiful home that has the perfect family feeling. I booked this home for myself and 15 friends for a wedding. It was the perfect place for all of us. We all had so much room and space within the house. It was a great area and close to everything we wanted to do. I

We couldn’t have picked a better place. The bedrooms were great, the views wonderful, the kitchen well appointed, and there were enough separate spaces for people to spread out. An October bonus was that we got to kayak on the pond one day. It was a perfect location for our many day trips.

Walk to west Dennis beach. Large older home right on the water. Needs a little updating but still comfy. Great for large group. Had wonderful dinners in yard. Kayaking swimming. Really 5 bedrooms as you have to walk through one to get to a bath. Beds very comfortable. AC works well throughout house. Would stay again

It is a fun house to stay in with an extended family. The pond was fun for the little ones and being less than one mile to West Dennis Beach made it convenient. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, and glasses. It was difficult to eat together in the dining room as only 6 chairs were provided. I would have 4 folding chairs available to prevent the iron chairs being brought into dining room. Eating outside is the best option and the sunsets were spectacular! Overall, the bedroom situation was good. The kingsize beds were very comfortable and the kids loved the bunk room. Thank goodness for the AC, though! Our week was brutal with the heat and humidity. The downstairs bathroom shower was difficult to manuever so we ended up using the outside shower. The upstairs bathroom could use some locks as doors connect to different bedrooms. The master bathroom upstairs was convenient to parents and kids. EXCELLENT VACATION!

Short walk to the beach, beautiful yard with access to the salt water pond - swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding. And we were able to bring our dog who also had a great vacation! We can’t wait to come back.

We just completed a week stay at this wonderful home in West Dennis. The house has everything needed for a family vacation and was spotless and very well maintained. The location is fabulous--very close to wonderful restaurants, grocery stores and so many ice cream places. It is about three blocks from West Dennis beach and a fifteen to twenty minute drive to the Bay Beaches. We ordered a week pass for the car in advance--Thank you Del Mar for the suggestion. We swam in the pond and used the kayaks most days. The path down to the water is a bit steeper than it looks in the photos but we were able to navigate it fairly easily. There are several lovely locations to sit and watch the birds and the absolutely gorgeous sunsets. There are so many bedrooms but we only used half of them. We were particularly happy that we could bring our dogs who enjoyed the large grassy back yard and splashing in the pond. It was a delightful week and we hope to return next year.

The house was perfect for a girls weekend. Plenty of room to spread out but also great congregating rooms and space outside to hang together. We loved the paddleboards and kayaks. Every game you can imagine in the game room! I would say the driveway is pretty small/tight although if you really squeeze you can make 4-5 cars work, but that's a stretch. Wish check-in was earlier and check-out was later, seems too quick. Other than that, a great time!

Fantastic property with plenty of bedrooms and options for sleeping. Gorgeous views over the pond sunsets each night. Great yard for games and dogs. Centrally located great beaches bike to West Dennis Beach and South Village Beach. Great spot for families, game room was used each night, deck out back by pond was used by everyone while kayaking, paddle boarding. True Cape Cod feel owners and management company do a great job - highly recommend.

My family has been going to this property for the last two years. We love the salt water pond and all the toys that Shane and Kathie provide. There are kayaks and paddle boards. We also love that it is close to the beach and an easy walk in the morning or evening for a stroll by the water. The hosts are fantastic and answer all questions promptly. The house is large enough that all 14 of us 8 adults and 6 kids have room to be together but also space for our peace an quiet. We love the puzzle and game room and have lovely dinners at the large dining room table. The kids' bunk room sleeps 6 kids and it is fabulous space for the kids to make forts and bond. Thank you so much for providing such a great family property!!! We can't wait to come again next year!

The place had lots of toys for the 6 kids ages 8 to 18. We hope to come back next year.

We have 15 people in our family, ages 76 to 9 months, this was a perfect place for us. There are plenty of beds, dishes etc. The owners have provided many things to make your stay more pleasant.

We spent a long time looking at homes on Cape Cod and reviewing each write-up in HomeAway before choosing to rent this property. We were trying for a place that would appeal to a wide range of ages and interests. We weren't disappointed. The house was more than large enough for our 9 family members - enough beds and bathrooms to go around and the beds and linens were extremely comfortable. The kitchen had everything we wanted and more! The family room was well stocked with games and puzzles (amazing - the 1000 piece puzzle we put together had ALL its pieces!). The decks, BBQ, grounds and pond were awesome. Croquet and badminton were in demand, but the stand-up paddleboards and kayaks got the most use from all members of our party. We can't begin to describe the pleasure we got watching the sunsets from the deck that is pictured. This was the place we chose to celebrate our 50th anniversary with our two daughters and their families and everyone agreed it was a perfect week. We also have to comment about the owners, Kathie and Shane - we were unfamiliar with the area and renting houses for a large get-together. They were exceedingly prompt in answering our questions and patiently provided suggestions and resources for our week. We can't imagine any owners being more responsive and helpful. All in all, it was a wonderful experience!

This house is perfect for anyone looking to visit the Cape. The home is beautifully maintained and has lots of bedrooms and areas to hang out. Short walking distance to the beach and is centrally located to take day trips to Chatham, Provincetown and it's a short ferry ride away from Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard. Our favorite thing about this rental is definitely the fact that it is on a large pond. We went swimming every day and loved all the water sport activities available. We also enjoyed having cocktails on the deck overlooking the pond at sunset every night. I highly recommend this rental to anyone looking to visit the Cape! We had a great time and will definitely visit again!

We had another amazing time at this house. We were four families living in the house and it did not feel crowded. Everyone had space to do what they wanted to do - read, play board games, talk, watch tv. And all six adults had a spacious kind size bed to sleep in while our 6 children (from three different families) slept in the two bunk bed rooms based on gender. The large kitchen gave us plenty of room to cook large family style meals every night that we often ate on the deck overlooking the yard and water. We also ate inside in the large dining room and kitchen. Again, the house easily accommodated us. The house is on a cove that provides a fun playground for kids of all ages. We kayaked, swam, sailed, and enjoyed all sorts of water activities. We also enjoyed the very close by West Dennis Beach and sometimes drove to other Cape Beaches. This is the third time we have been to the house and we look forward to coming back next year!

This house was amazing! For four small families (12 people total), we had space to spare! Everything we needed was on site. Days spent at the beach, kayaking on the pond, and grilling out on the patio. A note about how awesome the owners were: the dryer died on Friday night. I called the owner Saturday AM at 9, by 1 PM a brand new dryer was in the laundry room! Shane and Kathie were great to work with - next time we're on the Cape, I'm coming back to this place!

I would highly recommend this house. It has everything that we could have hoped for; Large kitchen, 2 Family rooms, comfortable furniture, plenty of bedrooms, kayaks and historical charm. We had six adults, but this house could easily accommodate more. The location (mid-Cape) is perfect. Short walk to West Dennis Beach (beautiful), also a just short drive to Downtown Chatham (great shopping) and slightly longer drive to Nauset Beach (huge waves). Home is situated on a lovely pond, and we put the three Kayak's to good use. Great afternoon exercise after spending the day at the beach.
