We had a wonderful time at the cottage celebrating our Hokie's graduation! It was the perfect place to gather our family together. Extra special touches from a VT flag, a personalized welcome sign, and delicious blueberry muffins were waiting to greet us as we arrived. The home's custom handcrafted wood details and furnishings made the cottage so charming. It was clean and comfortable, and we felt at home. The kitchen was stocked with anything you might need. The scenery was absolutely beautiful and could be enjoyed from the front porch swing or the back deck. We grilled out, enjoyed the deck, and had a fire in the fire pit, which was a great way to end our evening! The drive to Virginia Tech was not bad, in fact, on the day of graduation it took our Hokie longer to get to Lane Stadium than us and they only lived a few blocks away!

What a great house! Gorgeous inside and out. Loved the front porch and back deck. Just wish it hadn’t been raining so we could’ve enjoyed that more. Very comfortable and clean. Will definitely recommend. (My brother already said he’s keeping the listing!)

Me and family enjoyed every minute we stayed there!! We stayed for 13 nights and it was a very wonderful getaway!! Mrs. Jill is absolutely amazing! And the orange cranberry muffins she had waiting on us were delicious!! I would definitely recommend anyone to stay and enjoy this beautiful property!!!

Everything was as described and very well- equipped for a family stay. Enjoyed the fresh muffins left for us. The rural setting was lovely and enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the Mason Jar. The host sets a very thoughtful and comfortable stay.

We were attending the VT homecoming game and rentals were extremely pricey. We looked around the area and found this house. The home was immaculate and adorably furnished. Loved the beautiful views from either the front or back porch. The cows next door were fun for a city girl to watch. The host even left some amazing muffins for us to enjoy. Great visit!

We loved the house and property! Perfect location that made you feel like a local. House was a little closer to the road than I liked with little kids, but the road is pretty quiet. Front porch swing was one of our favorite spots to sit. Kids loved mooing with the cows!

we love this house! the location gets us away from the craziness of Blacksburg and helps us relax before and after a crazy football weekend. We love the farm feel of the location and my daughter loves having the space to run around and enjoy the feel of grass beneath her feet. we thoroughly enjoyed using the fireplace this time and loved having all the supplies needed to get it going. I would suggest adding a crockpot, air fryer, or some sort of toaster oven for convenience but other than that I wouldn't change a thing. We even were gifted fresh produce by the owner from his own garden! such an amazing visit cant wait to stay there again!

My family and I stayed here for 3 nights while getting my oldest daughter moved into her dorm at Radford University. The house is beautiful and clean inside and out. The kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked with all the necessities. The host responds quickly. We highly recommend this property and will definitely request to book again.

This was our second visit to this beautiful cottage and it was spectacular once again!! The host’s easy flexibility with our changing needs leading up to the VT graduation week was phenomenal - Jill really made our trip planning process stress free!! This was our first experience with VRBO. Our host, Jill, was quick to answer any and all of our questions immediately. The property was more beautiful than I could have imagined! The house was immaculate and fully stocked with everything we needed for our stay, including fresh blueberry muffins on the counter for our arrival. The grounds were heavenly…mountains, trees, roaming cows. We enjoyed the covered porch in the evening and the back deck in the morning. We also enjoyed a fire in the fire pit when the day was done. The cleanest vrbo I have ever stayed in! We were attending Hokie Focus and the property was an easy 35 minute drive from campus. The setting is beautiful, fantastic sunsets and sunrises. You can't go wrong with this house! There are no blackout curtains so if you are light sensitive, bring an eye mask. The location is very quiet and private, we will absolutely stay here again.

Rented this cottage to be able to spend Easter with my son that goes to Virginia-Tech. We had Easter dinner, the kids played ball in the yard & we went for a walk where we met Macy the husky. The place is so peaceful & relaxing!

We have stayed at this wonderful cottage multiple times over the years. In fact, we were the very first guests of Twin Maple Cottage. Fabulous hosts. Yummy baked goods welcome you. So clean. Amazing craftsmanship to admire throughout the fully renovated cottage. Peaceful views from every window. A porch swing, firepit, and a dining set on the back deck. You should reserve this property, just leave me a few dates. Smile!

I booked this property for a girls weekend with my mom and sister and we had the best time. The house was beautiful and we loved all the antique furnishings. It was meticulously clean. The surroundings were gorgeous. I love that there was so much space around us. We had a beautiful husky dog come visit and hang out with us one morning. Loved all the outdoorsy stuff available in the local towns. Took a hike up at The drapers Valley overlook, visited the red hill General store, checked out the shot tower and did some antiquing at some great local shops. Can’t wait to stay again in the future.

The house was very clean and nicely put together. The owner even had muffins waiting for us which was a very nice personal touch. We were visited by the local pup who was super friendly and sweet. We highly enjoyed her company. There was plenty of linen and toiletries provided if you needed them. No washer and dryer and only 1 bathroom but was fine for the short stay we had. We never ran out of hot water even with 3 people showering back to back. There was a fire pit and fire wood provided. We enjoyed a nice evening under the stars with a toasty fire. Overall great stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at Jill’s cottage. It was so peaceful and cozy we didn’t want to leave! The cottage was clean and beds were very comfortable. The views are absolutely serene. We even had a husky named Macy visit us from the neighboring property, she greeted us each morning which was the highlight of our trip to watch her trot over from the fields across the way and make a B line for our porch. Such a sweet dog! Overall a lovely experience, thanks for the muffins Jill!

Visited my son at VT for Homecoming Weekend. This Was perfect! 25 mins from Blacksburg. Fantastic views. Clean and homey. Wish we stayed a night longer just to use the fire pit and enjoy the country side. Fast host response. We will absolutely stay again. ❤️❤️❤️

I almost hate to write this review for fear of alerting everyone to this wonderful property. It is located within an easy drive of VA Tech. A wonderful little house with 3 bedrooms, well-stocked kitchen, spacious living area, decks and porches in a beautiful agricultural setting. We loved waking up to cows bellowing, mist rising above the green surrounding pasture, and two lovely maples casting shadows over the front porch swing. Jill really makes you feel welcome...we appreciate all the small touches including coffee and muffins. We plan make this a regular accomodation for future trips to the Blacksburg area.
