Nice clean place at a very reasonable price!

I found this location safe, restful, peaceful, and comfortable. The owners were appropriately helpful, yet allowed us space as we needed and wanted. The view from our door was lovely and relaxing. One morning coming out there were a couple deer close by to quietly watch. We also heard some wild turkeys in the area. It was a great place to stay that provided a relaxing environment, yet allowed for some cooking in the place at a reasonable cost.

I am so impressed with this property. It was exactly as advertised. The bed and linens very comfortable. The home is a little oasis in the middle of Rochester. As a patient at Mayo Clinic I am a frequent flyer. I will absolutely stay again!

We had a great stay here. The host was clear and prepared in communication, available for questions and kind in every way. The space was comfortable, well laid out, clean and in a safe location. I highly recommend this space and will definitely try to stay here again when we visit next.

We stayed here while we had some testing done at Mayo, and it was an excellent place to stay for this. The kitchenette is adequate for cooking simple meals, and the furnishings are nice. There are steps around to the back of the house where the apartment is, so if you are having major surgery, this may not be a good fit for that purpose, but otherwise, it is an excellent place to stay.

I could not have chosen a better place to stay for my trip to Mayo. It was a perfect alternative to a hotel as it has a full kitchen and it was more comfortable. Greg was amazing to work with, he respected our privacy but was available whenever we needed him. I would highly recommend if you need a place to stay in Rochester.

I was surprised by the 14 steps down to the apartment, without handrail. Not a big deal for most people, but I’m in Rochester for Mayo to work on my knees. I managed, tho. It’s a very pleasant unit. I felt safe and comfortable there.

Immaculate lodging and friendly host. Beautiful area in Rochester; however, I would stay in a place closer Mayo Clinic. I do not drive so I took a cab which took some time to get back and forth although15 -20 minutes of travel time once the car would arrive. The host was kind enough to take from his place one of the days I spent there, which was very kind of him. The lodging is very quiet and restful. The one major problem with a person with disabilities is the stair case is outside, with several and modestly steep with long and wide steps with a gravel like feeling material and no railing on both sides which could pose a hazard to people with walkers or wheelchair. I was kindly aided up and downstairs by the host which was another point of hospitality I experienced. It would be more of significant hazard to a person in the winter months and with a lot of precipitation. All in all it was a wonderful stay. I would recommend it very highly for persons with no physical or seeing diseases

The hosts were great with communication being on the great side also. The venue was extremely clean and welcoming for our stay. The 30 some turkeys in the backyard was pretty cool ! Overall a terrific stay and if we have to come back will stay here!

This is a peaceful little space in a lovely neighborhood with a convenient location to downtown. My husband was very skeptical of our very first vrbo stay. As soon as we walked in the door he quickly changed his perspective. The backyard is beautiful and we enjoyed our time sitting out on the patio when we had the chance. Greg and Yvonne are excellent. If we get to come back into the area we’ll definitely check the availability here first!!

Peaceful, quiet, easy access! Would definitely stay again at the Magical Nest!

My husband and I arrived to the Magical Nest after dark. Oh my goodness it was Magical walking to our room down the lit up pathway. We couldn’t wait to see the property when the sun came up. The room was very clean and decorated so nice. The property was gorgeous with flowers and the deer coming through. We seen deer and a Momma Turkey with her babies every day. Greg was very nice and easy to do business with.

Everything about our stay was ideal, from its location to all accommodations. It was very peaceful. Greg and Yvonne were wonderful. It is the kind of place where you say to yourself, 'Yeah, I could live here."

Rented for friends that had Mayo appts. They were happy.

Had an amazing stay at the magical nest. Was wonderful, clean and well managed property and not to mention quiet. Loved every minute of it.

I really enjoyed my stay. It worked perfectly well with my mini retreat. I was looking for a place to get away from the my busy life and enjoy some alone time quiet and reflection. The neighborhood was very peaceful and refreshing. I saw some squirrels, and rabits. I went for very long walks. I liked how the apartment in close proximity to everything about 8 mins or less drive. The music choices truely complimented my idea of a retreat. The apartment was beautiful, and had everything I needed. Greg very attentive and quick to respond to my needs. He is a great host. Thank you very much for making my stay comfortable.

Nice backyard to sit in. Typically quiet outside. Relaxing.

It was a great location for us as we visited our family in Rochester area. 5 mins to everything we needed in shopping and Mayo. The historic area near by was really fun to see the older homes being kept up so nicely. My wife and I have knee problems so the steps were a little bit more work but we just took our time and enjoyed the lovely yard and view! Deer, rabbits , turkey welcomed us as well.

My wife and I enjoyed some peaceful downtime after a busy reunion. Great location in a nice neighborhood. We especially liked sitting on the back porch watching deer and squirrels play in the gardens and woods. The hosts make the stay effortless! Highly recommend.

I was in Rochester for a week and this was the perfect place for me. The hosts were very inviting.

We enjoyed the stay at this property. We did see turkeys in the morning and got some beautiful pictures. The host was very nice and very thorough with instructions. Very quiet and clean place.

Greg was amazing making sure that we were comfortable and that we had everything we needed. We only hope that when we return to Mayo that this place is available!

This was the perfect location for my spouse and I while getting care at Mayo. The best part was the lovely view and outdoor spot for sitting.
