Such a cute cozy unit!!! It was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We really appreciated the early check in after a redeye flight with the kids. It was also nice to be a little away from the city in a quiet location surrounded by nature. Thank you!!

This is a beautiful place to stay and felt very safe. Bed was comfy and had everything that was listed on the website.
The cons we had is with the wifi that keep buffering until it was reset which was almost at the end of our stay, 11 days. We could not have the TV on and use our phone or tablet at the same time with out buffering.
We ended up going out and buying a clock radio just to have music.The other issue is if you wanted to watch TV you had to do it in the bedroom as there is no TV in the kitchen/living room area.
Also we knew it was an above
garage apartment but it was 18 steps to go up and down each time you left.

We were able to take a short trip to Anchorage. This rental made the trip so much more memorable. It’s tucked away in a beautiful location but close enough to all of the amenities. Everything was clean, all of the necessities were available and the beds were super comfy. Absolutely loved this rental.

This property is perfect for a couple or small family. We were only in town a few days but this efficient apartment has all the amenities of home.

The unit was clean, well maintained and perfectly appointed. I got to see a moose and her baby resting in the grass in the morning. This location is close to hiking and Potter’s Marsh with downtown not far away. I will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others. Communication was outstanding.

We booked this VRBO months ago and the reservation process, communications with the host, check in, description of property, couldn't have been easier/better. Location, location, location!!!! Lindsey's place is only a 15–25-minute drive from the airport, downtown Anchorage, hiking, etc. She was very informative, friendly, and accommodating from start to finish. We also didn't have the hassle of a hotel lobby or the crowds. Our Bucket List vacation to Anchorage was complimented by staying at this property. Thank You Lindsey for a wonderful Stay

The apartment was pristine and had everything we needed. But the best thing was the MOOSE who came to visit in the backyard on our first night. Highly recommend!

This was a great location to use for day trips out of Anchorage. It was close to everything we wanted to see and felt like a home away from home. The space was very clean and adorable. Don’t let the fact that the space is above a garage. It was never an issue. Would highly recommend this location and will definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay here, no complaints whatsoever. Host was a good communicator, neighborhood was quiet and lovely, and we had everything we could wish for.

Me and my Girlfriend loved the apartment. It was the most adorable and cutest little apartment. We loved it all together. I did get a bit lost from the gps but the host was so nice when she helped me out. 10/10 definitely would recommend.

This rental is even better than listed. It is an adorably decorated apartment above a detached garage in a lovely wooded neighborhood. I was nervous about it being an apartment above a garage, but it was very private and quiet. It is not the home’s main garage, but rather an additional detached garage. We loved this rental and the owners were great communicators.

The tv internet was buffering most of the time. Would freeze and stay like that until I turned off tv. Had to reset internet a couple of times and reset router once. Otherwise I really enjoyed my stay.

The space was perfect for our needs after hiking all day. It was light and impeccably clean with every convenience we could hope for. It's a very cheerful spot. And we saw a bear in the yard, that made us very happy.

My husband & I stayed in this cozy 1 bedroom property while visiting the Anchorage area. The property was immaculate and had everything we needed. The property was surrounded by trees that made you feel like you were in a secluded area. The views of the sunset from this property were amazing. We were close to highway 1 (the Seward highway) which was convenient for all the sightseeing & boat trips we had planned in Kenai Fjords National Park, Seward, & Whittier, not to mention whale watching from the coast. We would recommend this property to anyone who wants a beautiful, quiet place to stay.

The unit is exceptional and even better in person. The pictures are accurate and the unit was very clean, comfortable for myself and two young children, and in a perfect location. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle, this is your place. It was quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. The Hosts were very friendly and super accommodating. I can't say enough good things about this unit. If you are considering, book it! You won't be disappointed. I hope to visit again. This unit is perfect for a couple, small family, or solo travelers.

We had a great stay, thank you. Everything we needed for a little home away from home. One suggestion though would be to make your house numbers more visible. We arrived in the dark and rain and could not locate your house/driveway as you described. Other than that everything was wonderful.

This is a really cute rental, great location in the Hillside area of Anchorage. The property is beautiful and very clean. This would be perfect for 2 people, a little small for 3.

The apartment was amazing! It was clean, well planned out, and very comfotable.
We enjoyed being in a neighborhood, away from the city, yet it was easy to get to town to sightsee.

This charming garage apartment is very clean and comfortable. It is super quiet and relaxing. The room darkening blinds are the best and much appreciated. This place provided one of the best VRBO experience we've had!

Everything was great -- the space, the host, the communication -- but heads up if you and your partner are side sleepers: the bed was really uncomfortable. I ended up sleeping on the couch after the first two nights and my husband slept in the middle of the bed. I know that bed comfort is a super personal thing, so take this review with a grain of salt. It truly is a great spot to stay!
