Window in the room had all 4 handles removed but was unlocked. My daughter nearly fallen out. Fire alarm went off at night. No guidance for evacuation routes was in place plus no one came and see us to say it is safe to stay. Lack of soundproofing. I could hear from other rooms very clearly. Difficult to sleep as even light switch could be heard from other rooms, not even talking about laughing and shouting. Close to underground line. Bed was shaking when trains were passing. Very dark room. Roller blind wasn’t working. Felt very unsafe. Not for families with young children.

Fantastic pub..rooms above the pub Comfortable, cosy and surprisingly quiet for sleeping despite being on Mile end road. Pizzas,bar downstairs. Friendly staff. Very close to Mile end station. Ideal spot if you are the parent of a student at Queen Mary's University Virtually on campus but a room for you to chill in before meeting up with your student! Ideal spot .Not luxurious, comfortable, welcoming, and quirky vibe..

Back door entrance needs attention. Door gets left unlocked.. We informed staff so hopefully sorted out soon .

L'endroit est cool, l'équipe est sympa, et il y a un pub au rez-de-chaussée avec une bonne ambiance. On a même eu droit à un tournage de film durant une nuit 😊😍😍

Bien malheureusement, et l'hôtel n'en est pas responsable, l'équipe de tournage a fait des va-et-vient durant la nuit. 🤷‍♂️

Bed was very comfortable. Room was nice and big Shower was good and powerful. Close to the tube station. Nice bar below with friendly staff. Good price

Air con didn't work. Started leaking water during the night onto the bed. Hole in the ceiling. Room ended up being very warm due to no Aircon. Handles had been removed from window so we couldn't open them.

I left my car keys at the hotel room and they held it for me and I was able to pick it up too. Amazing customer service.

Tastefully decorated clean room. Big shower! Friendly staff. Loved our stay- excellent value for money.

The room was abit small but it was good for a solo trip. The bed is really comfy and the staff are really nice. The pizzas at the pub smell delish, i only wish i had spent more time there in order to have a few drinks and try their pizzas :)

Some electrical problems at the house should be fixed, but the staff did everything they could to make us feel comfortable. We got another room and everything was fine.

Great little hotel on top of a pub (who do nice pizzas and drinks). Air con helped massively and shower was a great size. Great location, near a tube station. Clean and comfortable.

A bit of wear and tear which wouldn't be too hard to fix and hair dryer didn't work.

Called ahead, staff didn't know if there was a carpark. Room smelt of damp Window didn't open Bathroom smelt of dirty pipes Had to hold shower over you as no wall fittings Sink wouldn't empty Air conditioning didn't work so was so hot in room and uncomfortable Whole building was dirty Never again

Bathroom had been refitted to a high quality. The overall decor of the building was nice. The staff were friendly. The pub had a good range of drinks available and the pizzas were very good. The gluten free base was once of the best my girlfriend has had.

Main bed was solid. Need new pillows. Rooms could do with being painted in a light colour. Our room was painted completely in a teal colour and made the room feel very dark. Our room could’ve done with a bit of plastering work as well.

Close to the tube station for easy access into central London. Seemed a safe area, had no issues coming back after the theatre late evening. Staff helpful when called, came straight up to try and fix any issues they could.

Quite a lot of issues in the room. The electric blinds would open unexpectedly, we removed the batteries from the remote which helped but we were later informed signals from other room's remotes were confusing our blind and so it kept opening and closing. The air-conditioning was broken. Every few minutes it would make a whirring/gurgling sound and then started leaking. The staff responded straight away and tried to fix the issue but in the end the solution was to wrap a towel around the pipe and disconnect it from the unit in order for us to get some sleep. Twice in the night I had to adjust the towel as water was dripping down the wall. The windows didn't open so the room was hot and stuffy by morning. The shower head attachment was broken so I had to hold the shower head in order to use it. The mattress was sunken on either side, making for an uncomfortable sleep.

Bad smell in corridors and from toilet (had to keep door closed and turn on air conditioner, couldn't open windows for air circulating), dusty carpets, very noisy road at all hours just outside, remote didn't work, bed occupying most room
