This is our second summer in a row staying in this beautiful cottage! It is centrally located to be able to take a short drive on either point! Awesome restaurants nearby ( blue mussel ) in north rustico our personal favourite! Piatto pizzeria in charlottown another favourite! We all had lighthouse legs as we tried to visit as many as we could.. Doug is amazing and goes beyond to make sure you have a fantastic vacation! We were sad to see how much of the shoreline was lost with hurricane Fiona…the front is a work in progress and understandably so…didn’t change the fact that we will forever love this cottage…the beach is a very short walk away…sunsets almost nightly. The morning we left there were 3 adorable seals bobbing close to the shore… almost like they were saying goodbye 💙 We highly recommend this cottage..

Overall we very much enjoyed our week at this well designed and appointed cottage. We knew before arriving that the grounds had not been fully restored post hurricane, which was fine. We were disappointed that a pile of soil was directly in front of the view from the deck. We very much appreciated the extras available in the shed. Thanks, Doug!

I left 5 star ratings for everything even though we didn’t get to stay here because VRBO won’t let me leave a review without rating our “stay”. I really wanted to leave this review because of how wonderful Doug was to deal with both before our scheduled visit and after we had to cancel. We were supposed to arrive for our visit the day that Hurricane Fiona swept through Atlantic Canada. We ended up having to cancel our stay because of the storm. I just wanted to say how wonderful Doug was in handling everything regarding our reservation cancellation and refund. He obviously had much more important matters to worry about but still handled our questions quickly and professionally. I look forward to staying here some day in the future.

Great place for our group, everything we needed was there. Great communication with the host as well. We will definitely like to rent again.

Excellent location with great ocean views and a 5 minute walk to the beach. Great beach house with plenty of room & all the amenities you might need. Great hosts.

We had a wonderful time at Doug's cottage. The cottage is well organized for families and it is clean. The trip to the beach is easy and short (5 min). The owner is responsive when we have questions.

No words can describe this fantastic cottage! Upon entering we couldn’t help but notice the cleanliness and the incredible attention to detail. As we chose our rooms we were giddy with excitement! The decor was unbelievable making you feel more and more like an islander every day 😉 Sunsets and sunrises were beyond beautiful! Ocean views from every angle…the beach just literally a short walk away with all the beach supplies you need provided in the shed. A short drive to wherever you want to go! You won’t be disappointed. Our weather was almost tropical! And last but not least…Doug! He was amazing to deal with providing us with awesome suggestions and very clear directions! We can’t thank you enough ⚓️

Fantastic cottage with spectacular views, especially sunrises and sunsets! Steps away to the quiet beach. Our family really enjoyed relaxing at the cottage. Reasonable 30-60 min drives to Charlottetown, north shore and east locations that we wanted to visit. The owner is excellent to communicate with and we felt very welcomed. Loved it!

Beautiful views, short, easy walk to a long beach. Beautiful sunsets from the enclosed porch room. Prompt response from owner for minor issue. Easy drive to tourist attractions. Would stay again if back in PEI.

We had a great week staying in Savage Harbour. It was spotless and well equipped. The views were spectacular both morning and night.
