This home was truly a hub for making the best memories. We had never been to Hawaii so we found the location to be perfect, close to so many beaches and within a drive to many adventures. The house was the most stocked home I’ve ever stayed in, with everything labeled and easy to find. Our kids loved the pool, and we loved having the gym in the garage. Even beach accessories were provided! This was truly a gem of a home and made for SO many family memories, we hope to return!

What a wonderful experience! Plenty of room for our blended family of 9. The location and views were incredible, close to wonderful beaches and easy access to anywhere on the island. Would definitely recommend this place and stay there again.

The house was spotless. Extremely well provisioned and roomy. Our family of 10 was very comfortable here Very quiet area, but also close to plenty of beaches and restaurants and groceries. We spent a lot of time in the pool and spa. The kitchen was very well equipped. Mike was always available for any questions. No complaints.

The overall stay was excellent. We enjoyed the back yard pool and bbq. The rooms provided plenty of space and bathrooms. Easy access from main highway and close to golf and shopping. Pictures were very accurate.

Omg, where to start ! We had a party of ten, 6 adults , a 6 year old , a 8 year old and two babaies 13 months and 17 months . Mike , the manager had sent our emails out so everything was up and ready to begin our vaca the minute we got to the property . The Obama suite is a separate area from Rey of house and the oldest daughter and her husband and little one slept there , we had a Lucious master suite that opened to the pool and our Youngers and her family had the junior suite the kids all had their rooms and we a were up and ready for the first evening . The pool and spa were used 10 hours a day , the beaches and king shops and queen market were body a few minutes for groceries . The golf course was walkable , the area sunrise and sunset la were always favourite parts of our days . The few quarries we had , Mike was instantly responsive. We had a very late flight 1130 pm , then a delay so after midnight , after discussing with Mike a possible late check out , he gave us all evening until we needed to head to airport , giving us the nap times and supper with all of us and stress free of 12 hours of wondering g what to do . Mike is amazing , and so so much appreciated . The property , best ever close to everything away from bustle and close t beaches . I would so do this property again , the first family vaca with all the grandbabies was a hit and hope to someday return ...... I rate this a 10 out of ten

This was an absolutely amazing home, period. It lends so perfectly to dual families spending quality time together. The home is charming, beautifully appointed with many special and detailed touches. Everything provided is organized, thoughtful and plentiful. I was so amazed. The main living area allows for gathering and making memories. The property manager, Mike S, was hands down the Best. I reached out to him prior to and upon arrival and he was impressively responsive to my inquires. I would stay here again, hands down. We truly made memories of a lifetime. The home worked out great for our family. We spent the mornings at the beach then were able to relax while the grand kids swam and enjoyed the pool later in the day. From the moment we stepped into this 5-bedroom paradise on the Big Island, we were blown away. With a group of seven, one might expect to feel a bit cramped, but not here. The spacious layout and thoughtful design made it feel like everyone had their own personal retreat.
The cleanliness was impeccable. A great deal of care is taken to ensure guests feel comfortable and at home. Every detail was thought of – from a well-equipped kitchen to comfy linens, this house had everything we needed for our week-long stay.
This is a special shout-out to Mike, the property manager. He was truly the icing on the cake. Always available, attentive, Mike made our stay even more memorable. His dedication to guest satisfaction is evident, and it’s managers like him that turn a great vacation into an unforgettable one.

I and my extended family had a truly memorable stay at Ainamalu 69-9250. The property is amazingly well equipped and maintained and beautifully decorated. The pool and spa were very well maintained and operational, The kitchen was, beyond a doubt the most well equipped I have ever encountered in a rental unit...including a vast array of spices and condiments. Quality appliances and tools galore. Mike was incredibly helpful and patient with our queries.

This is a beautiful house and setting. This house has everything you need. The kitchen has every gadget you need and plenty of room to cook. We woke up to the sunrise over the mountains. The pool and hot tub combo worked well for those times you did not want to venture out to one of several nearby beaches. Really we could not ask for anything more!

Excellent property. Perfect for a family group (we were 10 with 2 children and 2 toddlers. The pool was a highlight for the kids. I highly recommend staying here. The neighborhood is in the middle of a lava field. The yard is landscaped beautiful and it has a great view of Maura Kea.

This property and the experience exceeded our expectations! We had a nice balance of a private pool and an amazing beach close by that we loved! The house was great for our large family and we enjoyed our stay. With the layout, each couple and their children had their own space and bathrooms, and the kids had a great time with the pool. The house has lots of beach toys and chairs available for use, and the gym was very awesome. The only challenge was the management company's communication. When we first arrived, we couldn't find the pack and play that they said would be there (it turned out to be in the bottom of a bedroom closet), and the communication from the manager was prompt but a bit rude. The house also only provided enough toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels etc for about 3 days (we stayed a week). When I asked the manager if there were any extra available, I received a rude text that I should've read the check in instructions more closely and gone to Costco to buy these items on my way into town. I checked my email and had only an invitation to download a check-in app, which the manager said didn't have the right information and should be disregarded. I asked him to resend the email instructions, and never received them. Given the price of the rental, it seemed a bit petty to only leave a few rolls of toilet paper and other basic items and demand that renters go to Costco upon arrival.

Great house to meet up with family from Oregon and Colorado. The house fit us all well and Grandma enjoyed the Ohana suite! Having the pool out the back door was wonderful and the view out the back was especially amazing. Highly recommend!!

This property is outstanding! It is well stocked, thoughtfully equipped and sufficiently spacious for a party of 6 adults plus a 1 year. The property manager was super responsive and helpful. This is one of "the best" VRBO's we have stayed and likely we will be back!

The balance of public and private spaces allowed for personal downtime and family connecting time. Workout equipment was used daily. The well maintained lanai and pool also played an important part. The view of the mountains is absolutely stunning and spiritual.
The home is immaculate! Spotless! Thoughtfulness to the occupants is everywhere from the generous welcome gift of local cookies, coffee and hand written note, to the aesthetic labels and instructions and to the generous stocking of the kitchen and laundry. The manager and owner were beyond responsive and gracious!
We frequented the nearby beautiful beaches, local deli, and the resort hotel. There were day trips to Hilo and the National Volcano Park and Costco Target Walmart runs for our kitchen/grilling escapades and sundries. Each day was perfectly capped off by retreating back to a beautiful home base! We will go back again and would highly recommend this home to family and friends.

Several years ago, my family and I pitched the idea of all getting together in Hawaii to celebrate my parents' 50th Wedding Anniversary (2020). We booked a trip back in 2019 and...COVID happened. We cancelled the trip with hopes of trying again in 2021. Nope. Had to cancel again. Their anniversary came and went but we still held onto hope that we would all gather together on the Big Island. Finally, we decided to try for Spring Break 2022! Having 3 families (6 adults and 4 kids) made it somewhat challenging to find a place, especially with a private pool! We found this gem and decided to go for it...
It was perfect! Two living areas on each side of the house gave each family some privacy. A common living area and kitchen in the center made meals special as we could all gather together. The Ohana suite was perfect for my parents (so they had some distance from the early morning squeals of children)! And the pool/hot tub provided hours of fun and relaxation for all of us. A luxurious yet cozy home, in a quiet area, close to beaches, shopping, etc. It had it all! Also, Mike was very responsive to our questions. It was comforting knowing we could easily get ahold of someone if needed. All in all, it was an amazing and memorable trip for our families. A special week in paradise that we will always cherish!
